Lol 'tis oki
I don't think we have
Maybe he's a member of the government ?
I think that would give a slight advantage, as perhaps he might know how most of the other government members think / how to persuade them.

That's probably the best option, yeah.
So what about the other nearby countries? think we should develop one or two of them too, at least a little? If we assume they're futuristic too, it could be fun to take old cultures and mix 'n match them to make new ones XD
Ooooh, yeah that sounds really fun!
Wait- did we ever get around to naming this country ?
Um…..no, I don't think we did lol
Hmm….if you had just managed to buy/discover/conquer a giant patch of India that had suddenly risen into the sky, what would you call it?
Uhhh
I'm not great at naming anything that isn't an oc lol
Idk, Impia???
i just kinda changed and switched a couple 'o letters
Impia's cool! It did make me immediately think of maybe Impaea or Imria as alternatives/spin-offs, but if you like Impia we can totally use that ^^
Okay yeah, I like your ideas a lot better haha
Which one of those two do you prefer, if any?
I like Imria personally? It has a really nice ring to it I think ^^
So I was thinking, maybe for the other countries, we could take some earth biomes and put different cultures in them? What I mean is, since this is set in the future, what if some places are completely covered with water. But it's like shallow water, so people just put their houses on stilts or live in boats or tiny islands or whatnot? That seems like it could be fun to play around with. And then of course there could be other biomes as well, like jungles and mountains and deserts and stuff.
oooo yeah, that seems like a fun idea!
and sure, Imria sounds good!
Arighty! So, we can assume that most local countries will be mostly populated by people from Africa/southeast Asia/mayyyybe southern Europe. You know what might be interesting, is if in this world, America was not the only country to survive the apocalypse, as it is in so many YA novels. Maybe this time it was Eurasia with the most people left alive? If we did that, we could say that lots of people from other countries traveled here when their homes were destroyed, and then we'll have a very diverse group of people living in a very unique, diverse environment. idk if that makes sense, I just woke up lol
nono, it's fine aha
but yes, it does!
Ah good XD So, what should we call the culture that lives mostly on the water?
Uhh
Taura?
idk
i kinda went from atlanta -> lanta -> taurus -> taura
Taura's cool! So maybe the people would be called Taurians?
Also I had an idea second ago, what if we made the four closest cultures something to do with the four elements? We already have air (Imria) and water (Taurus). What if there's a forest/jungle culture for earth and maybe a volcano/desert culture for fire? Does that sound fun?
Yesssssss!
Very fun!
And as for the Taurians thing, that sounds good!
Okie doke! So, I'm starting to suspect that Imria's the most tech-advanced and wealthy culture of the four, maybe because it escaped the devastation of Earth early on and managed to preserve more pre-disaster knowledge. At the very least, they don't have to worry about tsunamis or volcanic eruptions or dangerous animals. Maybe that means the other cultures kinda resent Imria as much as Imria distrusts them? That makes pretty ideal conditions for a potential war if you ask me.
OH BOI
Yessssssss, I like thisssssss
@Young-Dusty That's really good!
What about slight evolutionary differences between Imria and Taura?
Also for fire what about, uhm, Leona?
My thought process:
Fire -> Signs -> Fire Signs -> Aries, Leo, Sagittarius -> Leo -> Leona

Yesssssssss
I like where you're thinking!
Honestly, the name Imria is growing on me with every passing day aha
And @TrippingOnStardust I assume you'd like to join in on this? But yeah, that's a really good question, I don't think we've explored that yet. But if you have any questions, I recommend going back and reading all of the pages, if you haven't already, because the answer may lie in one of these six pages.
I, yes please-
I've read it and I'm falling in love with it-
Wait have we really accomplished this much in six pages to let someone fall in love with this idea??? Mind blown, but seriously that makes me really happy.
Oh- and about the Leona idea, because I missed it-
That sounds good! Which is the one we have left, earth?
We could go with tundra, or some other variation. idk tundra is just the first word that came to mind immediately.
tander? idk where that came from
but its also a possibility
aLSO ALSO-
Typical Air-Sign traits are arrogance and disdain, which seems to kind of fit for what you said for Imria.
And maybe the Taurians have evolved and their cities are all, like, hydroponic and water-powered? I'm kind of getting the image of the sea lanterns from Minecraft in my head lmao-
OOH
What type of climate would the Earth one be located in?
