Hello, everyone! I have created several universes so far, many of which have extensive worldbuilding and are ready for stories. However, being the creative (and insane) mastermind that I am, I have decided to create yet another universe. I already have a dystopian-apocalypse style world, but I want to make another dystopian, future world that is not set during an apocalypse, and the fact that it is a dystopia is more of an opinion, as not all humans currently feel like they are being oppressed. Of course, nations vary as well, but for the most part, this a sci-fi sort of thing with very intriguing technology. Humans are the only race I will be dealing with. I was curious as to whether or not anyone has interesting suggestions they would like to share with me to help me get started on this new idea? Or suggest any other ideas, as I'm interested in a variety of cool topics.
Maybe this could be a post-apocoliptic (pardon my spelling) world where something like an alien invasion happened or something exploded and effected the whole world so people fled earth to live on Mars or something but then there are people left behind. heheh, just an idea.
OR maybe technology has been banned from the whole earth so people have to deal with a life with no tech.

I just read your profile, and might just I say, you are already an awesome individual in my opinion. XD I too am a Christian, and I was homeschooled before I got old. If you don't mind my asking, can I hear some about some of your world-building and characters? It's not often I come across like-minded individuals who share my interests. ^u^

My world is… a mess of complications and weirdness (just like me!). I actually have three universes, but we'll focus on one right now. Essentially, it's set in the future, a sci-fi dystopia thing, and I have about… mmm… fifty characters that are fully established in it, as well as a plethora of other ideas that remain underdeveloped. There are a lot (I mean a lot) of crimes that go on in this world, so if we're being honest, it's pretty dark (not inappropriate or gory, but just like, kinda gritty I guess). But, I wouldn't have it any other way. I've never actually completed a story in this world, either, although my ideas for epic plots seem endless– which is actually most of the problem that keeps me from completing a story. I have spent sooooo much time worldbuilding that it's not even funny. XD
WOW! 50 characters?! I only have about 20 something and most of them don’t have a complete backstory yet! Please tell me about some of your characters/your favorite character! Also, maybe i should save this for a different discussion but I was thinking of making a story related to the Fruits of the Spirit. Some sort of fantasy adventure with a boy protagonist as a swordsman or something and a girl as an archer and another nerd guy. Any plot ideas/random thoughts?

I have like a bajillion characters that I love, most of which are on Notebook (but like 0 of which are public because I'm a weird little recluse sometimes). My favorite?? Oof. Uhm. That's a good question– one that I, unfortunately, do not have the answer to. I can, however, tell you about a few of my characters here in a couple hours when I get back on. I'm pressed for time right now, so this was a quick response. XP

Ah. Very legitimate excuse I assure you. I too have been very busy colleging and finished surviving finals just last Thursday. (95, 95, 75 so I’m satisfied.) I have been alright. Really busy and doing waaay too much procrastination, but I actually did some writing recently so that’s good.

My finals were Friday, and I did indeed survive as well. A's, thank the good Lord– one of the classes being a surprising 100% (don't ask how because I do not know).

Ah, what have you been writing on, if it's alright for me asking? Whatever it is, I'd guarantee it's pretty snazzy. I have been trying to write, but instead I ended up reforming my whole universe– so now it's even more sci-fi-dystopian-ish than before. So, there's that. Of course, I also suffer from procrastination on a lot of things– mostly due to overplanning it rather than just putting it off– but the outcome is still the same: procrastination. X'D
Machetes are indeed very epic. I don’t own one but I still get conversation from my friend who thinks it was weird that I was wearing one with the sheath strapped to my leg. I was doing weeds so I say it was perfectly legitimate.
Oh of course it’s fine. Today I wrote down another form of writing. It’s like the concept of cursive but instead of high class it’s a more vulgar manner of writing. (I haven’t decided but that’ll probably be how it goes.) I also invented something for my sci-fi called SGT for Standard Galactic Time. The units are the Milichrote, Sentichrote, Chrote, Ekachrote, and Kilichrote. A milichrote is the unit of time it would be if you set a metronome to 75 per minute. (Shoot. Just realized the language and the math don’t match up.) A sentichrote is 100 milichrotes. This seems like I’ve really been busy but this is actually just one of those rare days.
I also have a bo staff, although I'm honestly not very good at wielding it at the moment. I mean, yes, I could wack someone in self-defense, but I only know what I'm doing to an extent. XD There's actually a machete here in my bedroom, on the floor next to my computer desk. In a sheath, of course, but it's there. I've chopped down weeds with plenty machetes before, although not the one I currently have in my room.
That sounds pretty interesting! I always like sci-fi worlds, and a bunch of worldbuilding details always make a world more interesting in my opinion. Also, the twist on having a more vulgar type of writing rather than high-class is a super neat concept. Snazzzzzz.
Cool. I can swing a staff decently enough. Not like, professionally or anything like. But enough that I can be casual about it and probably not whack myself. Hard approval on the home decor. The best I have is a steel bar baton that is magnetized to the bottom of my bed. And one of those bag of rocks kind of weapons. And I suppose there are one or two other things. But nothing as nice as a machete. Though my little brother has a big marine grade hatchet.
Sci-fi is… a lot. Like, creating an island nation with multiple cultures is hard. But an entire solar system? It’s a lot. The planet that a lot of the characters come from, Kytarr, is nice though. It also hopefully has a purple sky. Though it can’t be seen in the winter. Thanks. It’s more vulgar because it uses different forms of the same letters instead of different letters entirely. Like the g letter is a soft k so it would be written like a k but like a line down with a sideways u on it instead of the sharper angles.
