Why is my 40-something-year-old dad watching Scooby-Doo?
Because it's a good show

Valid.
I LOVE Scooby-Doo!
Who doesn't?
My Dad.
My Dad.
Ah, boomers. Can't recognize quality television.
(Idk if he is a boomer, just being sarcastic)
I remember when the channel BOMMERANG was popular.
(He's a millenial and yeah ik lol, he grew up watching mostly tmnt, power rangers and transformers.)
I remember that channel too.
I might have to go offline for a tbd time. The area that I live in is under an extreme flood watch due to a dam breach further up river. Went to my sister's house this morning because of evac, and now we have to evac again. I love y'alls, and will try to get on when I can.
Yikes! Good luck, SyGuy. Stay safe.
i've been watching horror movies all day
i dont know why i do this to myself anymore- imma be hella paranoid later today in the night
Why was I summoned into this chat?
One page back, my dude.
Oh, thank you.
No prob.
This is some if the aftermath from the dam failure/breaches in Michigan. Fortunately nobody died as a result, but there are families that have lost their homes and possessions. To say that this is devastating is an understatement. The fact that the community is pulling together during these trying times and cleaning, retrieving items and returning them, and even being charitable is awe inspiring and gives me hope for the future. People from other areas and states are even coming out to lend a hand.

I know that it is depressing to look at, but the good news is that we're making great headway with clean-up.

I wan a girlfriend……
((I got bored one day and wrote a parody of "Let It Go". I couldn't decide on some of the lyrics (where the word-a/word-b are). Enjoy!))
Their blood flows red on the mountain tonight;
Not a person to be seen.
A kingdom of desolation,
And it looks like I’m the king.
The rage is howling like the vicious storm inside,
Couldn’t be that nice, heaven knows I tried.
Don’t let it out, don’t let them know.
Keep the beast inside from killing them all.
Conceal, don’t feel. Don’t let them know.
Well now they know!
Kill them all, kill them all;
Can’t hold it back anymore!
Kill them all, kill them all;
Let their red blood hit the floor!
I don’t care
If they’re going to scream!
So just let them scream;
Their yells never bothered me anyway!
It’s funny how some killing
Makes everything seem real.
And the beast that once coerced me
Finally got to me!
It’s time to see what I/we can do;
To test my/our limits and break through.
No right, no wrong, no rules for us!
It’s free!
Kill them all, kill them all;
I’m one with the beast inside!
Kill them all, kill them all;
Don’t let them run and hide!
So here I’ll/we’ll stand,
And here I’ll/we’ll stay;
Let my/the/our anger rise!
My/Our anger ignites through the air onto the ground;
My soul is swirling in blazing fire all around,
And one thought burns in the night like a fiery blast;
I’m never turning back!
The pain is in the past!
Kill them all, kill them all;
And I’ll rise like the break of dawn!
Kill them all, kill them all;
That weak ass guy is gone!
So here I stand,
In all of their blood!
Let the beast rage on;
Their yells never bothered me anyway!
oh my, that's a…
dark rendition of the song aha
