woohooo Ravenclaw for the win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YAY! but Hufflepuff isn't as bad as people make it seem, because they are loyal and kind, and those traits, along with brains, are important.
just saying.
hufflepuff should get more atention.
definitely. someone, get on this! perfect writing material!!
I'm a Ravenclaw and I think I'm a bit Hufflepuff and Slytherin.
I've read somewhere (and I adore this) that Gryffindors are chosen for their bravery right? Ranevnclaws for their smarts, and Slytherins for their cunning. But Hufflepuff doesn't discriminate, instead it's more of a "All of those traits are important, yes, but none of them are more imprint than the other". And I love this idea, and that's why I'm a proud Hufflepuff!!
Nice! Hufflepuff is an amazing house!
Ravenclaw by day, slytherin by night😂
Never take online quizzes! Go by the traits described in the books (usually in the Sorting Hat's song). I also find this helpful and accurate:
Gryffindor - I'll die for you
Slytherin - I'll kill for you
Hufflepuff - We'll die together
Ravenclaw - I'll find a way for us both to live
I'm a Ravenclaw and proud. In my opinion, the most underrated and underappreciated house.
There's only me and one other Gryffindor on this chat XD
Is the fear of being mainstream causing everyone to not be mainstream and so now the mainstream people are hipster???? Jaden Smith looks off into the distance, pondering life
Could be. It also could be that there aren't many people in today's society who know that they possess Gryffindor qualities - true bravery usually happens in times of great danger, and that's not all that common. I also believe that many people want to be Slytherin because when something is vilified, it must also be romanticized. People want to be Hufflepuff because it's also cast aside in the books as unimportant and therefore it becomes cool. Few decide Ravenclaw because many people think that you have to be smart to be in Ravenclaw (not necessarily true) and I think many people struggle with low self esteem when it comes to intelligence.
Now, I'm not saying that all people just pick the house that sounds the best. Some truly do know where they'd belong, like me. It took me a while to figure out, but I know I'm a Ravenclaw to the core.
Same, @Broken Princess!
Right, so basically people think that it's cool to pick the unpopular thing. The good thing is, there seems to be a basically even amount of people in each house (except you're right, Ravenclaw seems like the least and Hufflepuff and Slytherin seem like the most). Besides on this thread. I feel like I used to see a ton of people saying they were Gryffindor a few years ago, but I haven't really recently.
Eh, I don't really know. Probably a Gryffindor side due to my impulsive and do-first-plan-later attitude. I'm known for being brave in my school, but I also like to keep quiet sometimes and observe people before I decide what to say or act around them. Probably not a Hufflepuff because I'm not very kind or hardworking. My life motto is 'If life gives you a shot, take it'. Dunno, what do you guys think?
Well the cool thing about the Harry Potter books is that JK Rowling made it a point to make the people in their houses very diverse. Harry could have been Slytherin. Hermione could have been Ravenclaw, for sure. Luna seemed a lot like a Huffelpuff. To be honest, the sorting hat assesses you, sure, but I think one is never 100% compatible to one house. It's more about where YOU want to belong. The sorting hat let's people choose, even if he doesn't agree. So go wherever you want to go.
So true, @Masterkey !
Hufflepuff
I believe myself a Hufflepuff. The first time I went on Pottermore 2 years ago, when the school part was still active, I got Slytherin, and my mom believes I am a Slytherin. The second time not too long ago, I tried again and got Gryffindor.
Wait, there used to be a school part?
I'm a slytherin
I've seen a post where the Sorting Hat doesn't put people in houses they belong in, but rather houses that they need to be in. Like Neville was put into Gryffindor to learn to stand up for himself and for his friends. (Maybe Luna was put in Ravenclaw so she could learn what exists and what doesn't cough cough)
Take a wild guess. ;)
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! RAVENCLAW! there's so many ravens and huffles on this chat. also @"Broken Princess" I saw that post
