"The tinker wizard"
It's my most recent story I'm writing so…
The title's a work in progress but basically the entire premise of the story is that a steam punk tinkerer is teleported into a fantasy realm and everything he does makes everyone else think he's a wizard and different countries try to steal him away but that's about it.
@AJMaskell That sounds fun! (Well, the death isn't fun) I like stories about kids on adventures.
And @Your-Humerus That sounds hilarious, oml
Here's mine.
The Untold Secrets of The Meadow
In a world that's just like ours with our same technology but, magic exists but is only extremely rare.
Everyone has one of the three genres of elemental powers earth, fire, sky, and within these genres, each person gets one ability, they just don't know it. The thing is, it takes higher magic to unlock these skills.
There are also three Amulets that represent each of the major races of carnivorous animals, Wildcat, Wild dog, and Wild bird. There are Keepers who influence the owner and help them make decisions on what would be best for the world. These amulets have disappeared and appeared at random throughout time. With this power, you could unlock your Elemental powers. When two teens both discover this power to defeat a rising enemy, they discover that these amulets are far from a blessing.
They're a curse.
When the Elemental powers start to change and the advantage is given to their enemy, who's Elemental Genre is the biggest of them all, sky. They discover that there was a guardian looking over the Amulet powers and Elemental powers, balancing them out.
There WAS.
She was murdered.
And whoever has her power, is the strongest of them all.
The power to shapeshift and wield all the Elemental powers.
And well, he won't stop till he gets his revenge.
Basically furries with elemental powers. Great idea, I know. :l
I'm planning on it to be a two book series.
Book one: Death in the moonlit shadows
Book two: Betrayal in the light
I also have an Idea in the works about the Guardian. It'll be like a prequel but, you read it after the other two.
What do you think?
I'm writing this book that's sorta like a mix between Indiana Jones and Uncharted, if you can picture that. I think I'm gonna call it 'Favor the Bold'.
MeadowOfSilence, sounds interesting! To be honest I'm a bit confused, but it'll probably make sense when it's written. XD
Madeline, I like it, I like it nods
@Masterkey
What are you confused about? I could answer your questions and give you a better view of whats going on.
@Madeline I love uncharted.
I read it through again, and it makes more sense the second time around, but I think it's just hard for me to picture all the different roles. Nothing you did wrong, it's all me. :P I'm a sucker for fantasy, so I was definitely interested!
holy geez everyone else's stories sound so interesting, and I'm just sitting here like "um I can write sitcom"
It's the year 1893, and there's been a rising epidemic regarding a prophecy (Whoa there cliched start amirite). The prophecy foretells red moons- people marked with the red moon mark- as the villains about to destroy human race, and blue moons as the hero. The problem is that red moons take up about 1/7 of the population, and they all claim that they have no fracking idea what this prophecy is talking about.
Tina Claire has a big family of 10 siblings and a single mother. 6 months ago, her brothers went missing. Now it's her and her sister's turn to join them in another world of magic and wonder to assist their side in a battle that will determine the fate of people on Earth. It's a fight separating the believers of the prophecy from the not-believers. If the Claire family and the not-believing side loses, red moons will be dead-ified by things that I REALLY don't have time to explain. However, as the battle drags on, they discover rather unnerving things- such as the fact that Tina and her nine siblings can't die.
Well I mean, they can, but then they immediately get revived. They begin to see reflection of themselves in the forest or in the desert. "The Tower" is supposedly the beginning of all life in this world, yet it is desolate and abandoned. They are given two choices- to ascend and climb the never ending tower of the sky, or descend down the haunting tower of the depths. One will lead to blissful ignorance until "The End" begins, the other will lead to the truth behind this world and its inhabitants.
Which one will you choose?
That's the first arc of the story. There's three major arcs, but no one really has time to read a 50 paragraph essay about my spontaneous plot twists and character arcs, so I'll spare you the pain.
By the by the story is called "Resonance of the CDP" After the main magic system and the main organization
@Masterkey
Okay, but if you do have any questions just ask.
