off to church for the first time in 3 months
both nearby grandparents are coming with us

I get what you mean Ella. I have a smaller church (I think), and we tried a soft opening last Sunday. A lot of people showed up. It was weird. No one was wearing masks or anything, but people toned done the hugging and high fiving we all do and I didn't have to work the coffee bar. They didn't do snacks either (we usually have a butt ton of snacks everyone digs in on). Pray for safety, I'll pray too.

My mom is refusing to take us to church, which is shocking since she's Very Catholic and like, legit works at one. But she thinks that churches opening up rn is stupid and I agree, especially since the actual church experience people will get there is gonna be lame since there's no singing, no gathering, and I'm like 99% sure that the hosts are gonna be plastic wrapped or something. Like, at that point I'd rather just stay home.

Also because they don't smell that good, they're a hassle and a half to deal with, they wilt super quickly, cats eat them and knock them over, and they make a mess

I'm all for giving flowers. I'd like to give big bouquets to my future partner like a gent, all fancy like, maybe even kneel for them.
