I just had the s t r a n g e s t realisation..
My kin, Scar, looks eerily like Thorn from Scooby Doo.
I had this realisation due to stumbling upon a blast from my past:

because autism sucks to have, just a psa, i've basically been in sensory overload since last night, i'm stressed out of my mind, and i just wanna sleep

I know exactly what that feels like.
Autism sucks ass, big time, but in a way it makes us unique. We see things differently to others, and that's not always a bad thing. In fact, in the workplace, it is actually seen as an advantage to have autism because it allows you to make decisions that others won't have thought of.
Sensory overload. Now, that's something I struggle with anyway because of my kins. Everything is heightened to the max, and being both a full time student and a part time worker doesn't help the fact that an overload for me is triggered by noise and crowds. It's not nice to deal with, especially at this age. The only advice toward that I can give is to possibly meditate or find a patch of forest/woods just to try and center your senses and help try to put them back into shape.
As for sleep, well, that's something I'm trying to do myself. The past week has been a nightmare for me since I haven't been getting to sleep until around 3AM and then going to college/work that day. I've found that listening to music/calming asmr is helpful, also reading books and meditating, but it's different for everyone (definitely try it though, it's better to try it before ruling it out completely)
