This is for people with ADD or ADHD to talk about our troubles. You don't have to be officially diagnosed, I'm not.

When you can't physically stop yourself from moving, such as bouncing a leg or tapping or other things and the teacher/your sibling/ your parent yells at you for moving the table.

How about this?
Me: Is minding own buisness in class/school/youth program
Me: Heard random group of kids make jokes about mental illnesses
Me: Politely tries to explain that it's not a joke and is very hurtful and that they should f-off
Them: Insults me, and asks for explanation
Me: gives explanation, politely, and slightly frustrated
Them: Twists my words and uses them for their own purposes
Me: Gets mad, then gives up cause they're impossible and unreasonable

Has anyone else encountered this? I have, especially on topics such as Autism and ADHD, and a few others… (Those are the ones I react to the most…)

When you suddenly realize how weird of a position you're in- it's like
where did this rubberband come from?
Why is it on my head?

I did that once, but I had my sleep mask on my head nearly the whole day at school.

Me: Huh, Brain, maybe we shouldn't watch those dumb Reddit bot videos on haunting last words and incidents in hometowns
Brain, cracking open a sparkling water while wearing a Hawaiian shirt: We all die someday, kid.
Me: But I don't want to think about that before sleeping, they were unsettling
Brain: Hyperfocus on the times you've almost died
Me: You know, that isn't helping
Brain: Fuck you, I do what I want

@Moxie group

Me: Please, please can we just do this one essay?
My brain: We could do that . . . or we could refresh notebook for an hour
Me: But we haven't gotten any notifications in so long
My brain: Fuck you, I do what I want
