Ain't nobody like Sci-Fi then?
My novel is Sci-Fi/Fantasy! Also, Robert J Sawyer is a really good sci-fi author.
I'M WRITING SCI-FI TOO!!!
I've never heard of him. What did he write?
A ton of really good novels and a couple of trilogies. Really unique and interesting plots, deep characters, and discusses a lot of philosophical stuff. Nobody else but me seems to know who he is, but last time I checked his books are available at Barnes & Noble if there's one near you!
Could you name some of them?
Sure! My personal favorite is probably, erm… hard to say because there are so many good ones, but probably Quantum Night. Some other ones I like are Red Planet Blues and Terminal Experiment. My dad has a big collection and I've read a lot of it so I'll look for others that are good later.
Cool! I'll see if the library has them!
Also Emergence by David R Palmer is a REALLY good novel, one of my favorites, but I can never find it anywhere.
I really like I, Robot by Isaac Asimov
how am i just seeing this thread??? I LOVE SCI-FI!! I, Robot was a fun read. Isaac Asimov is a really good author.
Yeah and really ahead of his time!
I don't see enough Space Fiction out there (and by enough, I mean good content wise)
Yussssss. Sci-Fi. My main genre.
Heyy I'm a new sci-fi lover actually, I grew up with fantasy and classics, mostly. So I'm soaking up these suggestions, and give me more please! I've read Ender's Game and actually really liked it, and I own the whole series and will definitely continue it.
You gotta read I, Robot it was revolutionary!
Have you seen Star Gate? It's pretty good.
Star Wars and Star Trek are great too.
Star Trek is amazing. It was my first fandom.
ender's game is amazing, but speaker for the dead was AMAZING. I've never read such a well-grounded and interesting sci-fi.
I read somewhere that speaker for the dead was the book he intended to write all along, and he was surprised Ender's Game ended up being more popular! I'm getting hyped.
STAR GATE
MOVIE OR TV SERIES? I've only seen the movie.
SAME
If I was talking about the TV series I would have said Star Gate Atlantis btw
(Ooooooh. Okay)
I absolutely love Riddick, Star Wars, Star Trek, H. G. Wells, Rick and Morty and Dr. Who!
I can super recommend Stargate the series: it's a lot of content, like 15 seasons…but immensely worth it. It's much better than the films so if you liked those, you'll fall all over the series. Bonus love if you're an ancient history lover as well (plenty of cool history-based cultures)
