Nope! I've never actually heard of it! If you can persuade me, then I'll watch it. From the looks of it (on google) it's pretty old. I'm not a big fan of old-fashioned anime but I'm all for plot and any aesthetics!
@RebeccArt The first anime was made in the 70's, so there's that, that's probably the one your noticing, but there are a few OVAs that are really good, there are also a few crossovers, don't watch the Devilman vs Mazinger Z one, that one isn't that good at asll, it's super old. The new show, "Devilman Crybaby" is on Netflix, but it is super, super graphic, don't watch it in public, and it'll probably make you doubt life at the end, because, plot, but the end is really complicated, so… But other than that, it's a really good, emotional show, where the fight scenes are on point, the characters are awesome, and the interaction between Akira and Ryo are hilarious, but the artwork is really bad, even though it's supposed to be. And, and, there are a group of rappers in the cast who spit straight fire, it's awesome.

I've tried to watch the first episode of Devilman Crybaby before, and it definitely is unique in style haha. I don't mind the graphics, I've heard good reviews about it and how it's the 'best show to represent new modern anime'. I still really like Neo Yokio by Jaden Smith cause it's so terribly made, and there's so much of Jaden's typical angst put into it. I think that one beat Devilman Crybaby to the spotlight, which is probably why I didn't finish it. But I'll give it a second shot.

Favorite color: … Indigo (trying to think of a way to say blue that doesn't make it sound boring)
Food: Injera (imagine a fermented grey pancake with meat and vegetables on top) (except that makes it sound gross which it really isn't) (it's delicious).
17 years, but will act like a cynical 80-year-old or a selfish toddler on command.
Passport country is Germany, but I'm living in Ethiopia.
Random fact about me: I once walked backwards for a day to prove a point. I can't say I recommend it.

I once climbed a tree with my eyes closed in a bet. Ouch.
my favorite color is purple, I love anything chocolate-y but for a real food fried catfish never gets old, I'm 17 and a senior in HS, and I'm American. Random fact: I love tap dancing and I feel like its a forgotten art because its absolutely amazing and its origins are fantastic I just love it so much
Cool!
If you guys ever go on Pinterest and look up 'Canadian Humour' you will find a lot of weird stuff.
@wake-read-eat-sleep How far did you get up the tree with your eyes closed?
Three quarters of the way up. The tree was around 60 feet tall. Then I gave up. I scraped my entire arm on the way up and it was kind of bleeding and my eyes were still closed and I didn't realize.
That is true dedication. The real question is - was the bet worth the effort?
Blue, pasta, 13, Canadian, and I'm seeing Hamilton next week and I'm listening to a playlist on the verge of tears.
WHAT?? HOW???? GODS YOU'RE LUCKY
