No, not the chef.
Does anyone know of any women who made leading achievements in creating new colonies/countries, and what exactly they did? I'm trying to do a project but I cannot find ANYTHING. If the woman is related to space or astronomy, you get bonus points XD.
Have you heard of Valentina Tereshkova? She was the first woman in space, in 1963, and she kind of paved the way for women in the future to also be able to go to space.
Is that along the lines of what you're looking for?
I mean there was Maria Mitchell, a Quaker, who make her own lab and Observatory with the left of overs of forts from the revolutionary war, and in order to make the roof of her Observatory rotate, she used unshot cannon balls to move it.
Those are really interesting! Thanks for the suggestions!
I've got a few:
Emmaline Pankhurst
Ada Lovelace
Boudicca
Vera Atkins
All super awesome ladies who did super awesome stuff

Wait, she used cannonballs as ball-bearings?!

Yes she did. And she built her own telescope.
