i actually wanna dye my hair red, since i've never dyed it before

I'm getting a buzz cut on Friday. It's something that my school is eh on (I go to a Christian school, it's not bad just our new head of secondary is kinda strict) and the only reason I'm allowed is because I made it clear that it's for my mental health and that I'm gonna do it anyway whether I got permission or not.
I really want to dye my hair blue, but I'll probably wait until the day after my formal next year. If I'm barely allowed to get a buzz cut just for being female, there's no way I can dye it blue (since blue isn't a natural colour).

oh damn, do you go to a Christian school or something?

@berlioz

Christians/Christian schools that have rules on hair like that are just weird to me. I get modest dress codes, but school uniforms? Hairstyle rules? Whack. Speaking as a Christian.

but yeah, i get that, Chrisitan schools are a pain in the ass in my opinion

Mine didn't have uniforms, but you weren't allowed to dye your hair unnatural/bright colors. You could do deep red, but not bright red.

The uniforms aren't a big deal, there isn't a school in Australia without a school uniform.
It's honestly not that bad and it was better before our new head of secondary came (we don't have proper free dress day anymore: we have to wear sports shorts and sports shorts).
