I mean from what I know, it's not unrealistic that a deity would reach out to you through a friend I mean that's what I would do if I was a deity but that's because anxiety. But that's about as much as I know since I'm not super familiar with many pantheons and I'm not well versed in deities reaching out

The first thought to come to mind when reading your story is ofc na Daoine maithe. The fact that this entity used your voice and pretended to be you points to a dishonest nature. It could be that whatever your friend was trying to manifest let her shields down and let in this extra spirit into your lives on accident. My advice would be to do whatever protection prayers or spells that work for you to ward out evil, and see if these animals keep coming back.
It could be that this tricky spirit is trying to catch your attention through animals, or it could be a completely different spirit from the encounter your friends had. Can I ask what else the friend who talked with the spirit thinks of it? You said you guys came to the conclusion it was trying to reach you. Did she get any other vibes, did the encounter relate to what she was manifesting, was she sure her spell was protected, etc?

I like this exorcism/banishing prayer from the Carmina Gadelica. It's for the Evil Eye specifically, but it can be easily altered to be about whatever malevolent spirits might be floating around you. In English and Gaelic:

I was on my laptop looking at Pinterest rings and outfits, etc. There was absolutely nobody around me and I know there was nothing on my keyboard. However, I eventually bumped something when I went to press the space bar and I look, and it was a small metal number 14. Idk how it got there but I can guarantee there was nothing on my keyboard or near me.

Thank ya Owen, I appreciate it. My friend said the entity trying to get to me was dark. But that the animals were all something good. And In traditional Scots Gaelic cultures, all the animals I mentioned have both good and bad connotations that each represent a part of me. All except one. Which is the blue jay. The blue jay is supposedly the reincarnation of an Ancient Druid. And they’re sent to protect whatever needs to be protected with their magic, and to offer wisdom and guidance. And we are led to believe that the blue jay is the one doing the protecting. It showed up two days ago, and is always outside my window and follows me around campus at college. And the crows. OH MY- Crows. Whenever the blue jay is around there are no crows. Whenever the blue jay leaves for a little bit, the crows fly in. Hey Owen, how does one go about consulting a blue jay? If it is indeed an old Druid following me around, there has to be a way to consult it. Right? I don’t normally work with animals, I’m more of the type of I know all the old stories and the plants are cool and the medical stuff. I don’t normally go near the deities or the animals but they seem to coming to me.

Ok ok, so it seems that the blue jay, possibly a reincarnation of an ancient Druid, is protecting you against whatever this dark spirit is. I see.
Honestly I don't know how you'd go about consulting the blue jay. In my own practice, I honor the wren pretty regularly and the cat passively. But I have yet to communicate with them as spirits.
I do know that when communicating with any spirit you need to be in a calm, meditative state so you can receive what they have for you.
Since it's always outside your window, it might be good to sit by the window and meditate with it. Watching each other, in a calm receptive state, could form some sort of spiritual bond. I would also recommend keeping a notepad nearby and writing down every thought and feeling you have as you sit with the bird. Once you feel calm and connected with the bird on a spiritual level, however that feels for you, ask your question. Maybe something like "what do you want me to know about you?" It can't hurt to ask, but that doesn't mean it'll answer right away or in the way you most expect.
And since you speculate it's also connected with the old Druid, of course do research on them and see if other people venerate that Druid in a specific way, if they takes a special offering or something that could be helpful for you.
These other animals all representing parts of you coming to you first is a good sign in my opinion. It could be that this Druid's spirit is reassuring you "hey, I know you, and all these things about you. Now here I am, listen to me."

Yeah. Right now I’ve been graciously feeding it pretzels and just talking to it. It’s pretty chill. Whatever it is, after I started feeding it the crows are staying further away. It’s pretty chill. We just vibing right now. Answers come when they come, and I’m here for the ride.

Bowling alleys are pretty busy and bustley places, so if it were me I'd veil. They're good at keeping you grounded in my experience. Plus, veiling will remind you that you get to set your own boundaries on this date. And then there's the literal boundary of blocking the date buddy from seeing your hair/head, which can help them focus on your personality more than your shmexy hair.
If it were me, I'd veil, but I veil for almost everything lol. You do you ✨

Hello there!! I heard the words Pagan and witch, so now I’m here! I’m both an eclectic pagan and a witch, so I’m stoked there’s a chat for that!! Btw I’m Ren, and my pronouns are they/them! Some of y’all may remember me. I actually have memory loss, and stumbled across this site recently, finding a ton of stuff that I posted. I’m glad to have found this site, considering that I have no memories from this time in my life, so I’ve been scrolling though it to get an idea of who I was. But I found a few chats that I definitely want to be a part of, like this one! Anyway, I’m glad to find a community of other pagans and witches.

General Info time!

Wicca is a tradition of Witchcraft that was brought to the public by Gerald Gardner in the 1950s. There is a great deal of debate among the Pagan community about whether or not Wicca is truly the same form of Witchcraft that the ancients practiced. Regardless, many people use the terms Wicca and Witchcraft interchangeably. Paganism is an umbrella term used to apply to a number of different earth-based faiths. Wicca falls under that heading, although not all Pagans are Wiccan.

So, in a nutshell; all Wiccans are Witches, but not all Witches are Wiccans. All Wiccans are Pagans, but not all Pagans are Wiccans. Finally, some Witches are Pagans, but some are not—and some Pagans practice witchcraft, while others choose not to.

Paganism is a broad term for (technically) non-abrahamic religions. It's generally applied to the prechristian/preislamic religions of Europe and the near east. There's some debate and contention on if living polytheistic and non-abrahamic religions from regions never widely converted (like Hinduism) should be considered pagan since it can be seen as pejorative when applied to them. Generally it refers to an ancient, modern, or reconstructed religion which often contains polytheistic or nature worshipping elements, especially those of Europe. This is, generally speaking, a religion.

A witch is someone who practices witchcraft, or generally (and somewhat erroneously) someone who practices magic. This refers to a practice, not necessarily a religious affiliation.

For example, I am a pagan and a witch because I practice pagan religion and do witchcraft. A Christian witch is not a pagan, but is a witch. A pagan person who doesn't believe in magic is a pagan but not a witch.

So here I am!

I don't do Tarot readings. I mainly do sigils of peace, love, courage and commitment. I tend to try and bring peace with me wherever I go, because it helps with anxiety and I generally enjoy making people happy. (When I'm not teasing them, that is.) I always carry a marker with me, to draw sigils on my friends that need or want them.

I don't worship any one deity. Rather, I work with the spirits of nature and of the dead to lend me guidance.

No altars for me. Not usually, at least. Any altar I do put up is only temporary.

Never really had the need for the tools. I call, the spirits generally answer.

I haven't, in the 3 years I've been doing this, given up. It's taken a lot of will to get to this point, honestly.

I have. I know a bit about everything, The dead and the spirits of nature are my main focus, so I know more about them than anything. Energy flows are also useful, because it allows me to sense when the spirits need appeasment. I've been doing this stuff for a bit, and I'm also a more energy-and emotion oriented person than most. I've helped out people more than I've hurt them, I think. If anybody ever needs help with anything, know that I'm here to help!

Recent practice update as of March 13th 2022!

— Have bought a crystal ball
— Have bought 5 balls of other crystals
— Have rearranged my workspace so everything is in a somewhat orderly fashion

A song came on about ancestors that I used to sing to my cousin (after he died) about a year ago and haven't really listened to since and immediately after I started humming a guy with very similar energy came out and started asking what year it was and saying they sent him to the wrong year

A lot of people have been losing their pendulums and bracelets recently. The first time I heard it I thought it was just a coincidence, but then more and more people started losing their stuff. Must be that time of year I guess 🤷🏻
