Infusing stones with energy is pretty simple actually!
All it takes is meditating with them (preferably within a casted circle or safe meditation space) and you focus on the intent of infusing a piece of your own aura into them. It really helps to boost a stone's properties and makes them more yours if that makes sense. I usually will do this almost immediately after cleansing my stones–which I do about two to three times a month (for the stones out in the open in my house). For stones that I keep–say in my purse (for safe travels and luck with money) I charge those about once a month.
Oh! That's sounds interesting. Also, how do you, personally, clean your stones?
Moonlight generally. (Full moon)
but since I moved to Washington Ive actually been using rain water!
Ooh! I tried to collect rainwater once, but something happened that deterred me from trying again, at least for a while. I still beat myself up over it and have problems sleeping some nights if my brain brings it up.
oh that must suck but thanks for the tips Bento
It's been a while since I've said anything here and I just wanted to see how everything is going.
How has life been treating you lately?
Did you learn anything knew?
How is your practice going?
Life has been crappy, for the most part.
Haven't been able to learn or practice anything because Christian family, y'know?
But I'm going to try to find more subtle ways to practice.
I still have yet to tell the adults in my life what the actual religion I subscribe to is, so that's nerve-wracking fun.
I have managed to setup two separate altars at both places, and now I can more easily give offerings to my patrons.
I sealed/warded my apartment. Which goddamn that takes a lot out of you–I do not recommend doing without properly eating first.
But it feels so nice inside. No excess energies floating through
So I'm not sure, but it's always nice to get a second opinion, so here I am. Either something is trying to contact me, or has happened without my active knowledge, or some odd happenstance of coincidence occurred.
Anyways, I found two broken pieces of jewelry.
Storytime.
I don't usually find personal effects, and when I do, I usually take them to the lost and found. However, these were different.
On Monday, I found a hairpin on top of the towel dispenser. I picked it up, turned it over, and found the pin part of the hairpin had been broken off. An easy fix for me, but the previous owner must have discarded it because they couldn't fix it. I took the hairpin with me.
Today, I found a dangly earring on an outside bench. I picked it up, turned it over, and found the dangly mechanism rusted and broken. Another easy fix for me, but maybe not so much for the previous owner. Again. I took the earring with me.
Two broken pieces of jewelry in four days. That's very unusual for me. There are two possible deities that could be behind this, but that may be unlikely as those candidates are Theia or Apollo. But I also don't know what else it could be besides odd coincidence.
I may be looking for something that isn't there, but I also wouldn't be posting this if I thought this as normal. Judgment would rather not be heard in this instance; I'm aware I could be seen as paranoid or morally grey for this. I do not care; I am deeply concerned.
Some advice would be nice.

Nice! I bet that feels awesome.
RedTheHopeless, I cannot give you any advice, because that screams "spirits!" to me, because that's what I've dealt with for several years.
But, I need my own advice rn. Okay, so has everyone here has heard about how rooms hold residual energy, right? Well, my home's living room and kitchen seems to tend to hold a lot of high energy, resulting in a lot of arguments and yelling. Is there something subtle I could do (or do while my family's out) to adjust or remove the energy in the room?
I hope this possible spirit is nice, unlike the first ones I met. And hopefully it's not a bad omen either.
Whisper, I'm afraid I can't be much of a help to you, as the only way I know how to cleanse rooms is by no means subtle.
Yeaaaaa cleansing isn't really a subtle thing. Mostly because the intent behind it needs to be strong and firm. If you try to do a cleansing in secret it can bring those anxious feelings into the ritual and cause more harm than good.
Alrighty. Thanks anyway. I'll see if there's any other ideas around. thank you!
Well, I've been doing great!
I got a sage bundle at a farmers market so I can smoke cleanse my room and altar.
I set out some offerings to Dionysus and I think he liked them 'cause now nothing is wrong with my grape juice or grapes.
I need to redo my money spell, but that can be at a later time.
I finally got a locket to hold my obsidian and i'm happy because the two pieces are meant for me and my older brother but i have yet to meditate with them due to the lack of a full moon
I got some toothpicks from my grammy and I think I'll use them for divination. They've got animal heads on them, I just need to train them lol.
Hello
I… Am sort of a witch?
I've always called myself a witch for fun and because I look and feel like one.
While researching for a book about the Salem trials, I became a lot more aware of modern day witchcraft.
I immediately had a sort of connection??
So… I'm going to borrow some crystals from a friend and am currently making moonwater {I know it's not a full moon, I'm doing it as an experiment to see how I feel after charging it.}
I will have lots of questions.
Lots.
Fair enough. I wish you luck in this new journey you'll be partaking in.
Bit of an update: it was Aphrodite who was trying to contact me. It took a bit, but I was finally able to speak with her today (with an offering of incense and a promise of dedicating all of my rose/ocean art to her) and she agreed to be my matron. So that was nice.
That's awesome!
How do you talk to the… Gods??
I wouldn't recommend it to a baby witch. It's… a lot, to say the least.
Not to mention that I'm a hellenistic pagan, and therefore the ones I worship/commune with are of the Hellenic (Greek) Pantheon, which limits me in knowledge and advice if your pantheon is literally anything else.
I wouldn't try it to be honest, that doesn't sound up my alley.
But do you, like… Is it an Ouija board type thing?
I'm not trying to be offensive I'm just confused lmao
Oh hell no. Ouija boards are for those who like to tempt fate and dapple with the darker magicks and energies. Avoid using them at all cost unless you know what you're doing and highly experienced. Do not use a ouija board.
