Greek myth was the son of Hermes and Aphrodite. Seeing him bathing in a pool, the water-nymph Salmacis fell in love with him and prayed that they might never be separated. The gods interpreted her request literally and joined the pair into one body.

They likely fought about being better than each other also, poor Artemis hearing his whining though I can find myths if you want
Yeah that'd be great. - Them fighting over who's better is very sibling-rivalry of them, I wouldn't put it past 'em.
I personally imagine that they have a good bond being the sun and moon god n goddess respectfully. And Apollo being likely the only male she is willing to be within 2 feet of.new frend…MYTH BUDDY
Lol. Percy Jackson and Greek Mythology in general has been one of my top favorite things growing up. However, I only know about as much Mythology as the Textbooks and the Surface of Online Research could tell me. [ Nooot really sure how accurate Percy Jackson's lore tends to be when it comes to the Greek Mythology. ]

Nah I'm talking bout the Books. The Percy Jackson MOVIES are not in line with the books. [ There is a Seasoned Show however that follows more closely with the books, haven't watched it yet…]

"Aktaion, who was reared by Kheiron and trained as a huntsman, but was later eaten up on Kithairon by his own dogs because…he saw Artemis bathing. They say that the goddess changed him on the spot into a deer, and drove his fifty hunting dogs into a frenzy so that they unintentionally ate him. When he was no more, they looked for their master with great howls and bays, coming in the course of their search to Kheiron's cave. He made a likeness of Aktaion, which assuaged their grief"
Good for him creep got punishment
"Artemis was a divine ally of the Trojans during the Trojan War. In a clash between the rival factions of gods she confronted Hera, but the Queen of the Gods tore the bow from her hands, beat her about the head, and sent her fleeing back to Olympos in tears."
:( angry stepmama

To be fair, in the version I heard, that was an accident. He was just at the wrong place at the wrong time.
Regardless, his fate is pretty screwed up. I mean he literally gets eaten by his own dogs.
And on a slightly unrelated note, poor Iphigenia.
In one myth, she’s saved by Artemis to become a priestess of her. But in all others, she is sacrificed by Agamemnon for the wind he needs to fight the Trojan War.
