RIP Corndog. All I can even say, I'm not happy and I'm not sad I'm just numb. I've kinda given up. Dealing with a crazy cousin and all, I just have to keep going even when I'm not feeling anything. I loved you, girl. Even if you did try to eat my feet sometimes. I kinda want to get another pet and get past this bump but I don't have money lmao. At least she didn't suffer, and now I have to pick up a second job to deal with vet bills so I won't be online as much.

I'll be fine… I just never realized how helpful it is to have an animal around.

Maybe, that is. I might also be getting a raise, or laid off, so I don't know what will happen to me honestly lol.

I'm so sorry…
And hey, if you don't have the money, do what I do. Go to a gas station and pick up one of the strays. (Make sure it isn't someone's pet first. My town has a bunch of abandoned and homeless cats but idk about your area.)

I don't know… was thinking of getting a slightly more long living pet, I know that if you care for them well some snakes live like twenty thirty years and idk I could probably rescue on off of craigslist or something.

Although vet bills for exotics? Crazy. So maybe yeah another cat. I did move out of crazy landlord's shitty apartment and into an actual house for the first time (still renting tho… this is why I hate capitalism lmao) and my new landlord smokes pot and told me that any pet I can manage to keep alive I can keep so that's somewhat comforting.

Birds are nice if you're into that. I have one and he's such a sweet boy. Parrots live for about 30 years but can be expensive. Parakeets are nice and so are cockatiels and cockatoos. I got mine for around $80 but you can get them cheaper, even around 10 dollars

Guinea pigs and hamsters are an option

Cheap Exotic Pets (prices listed are from a website, but this can obviously GREATLY vary.)

Green Iguana: $15–25
Degu: $10–20 (similar looking to a chinchilla)
Budgie/parakeet: $10–35
Hermit Crabs: $5–35
Axolotl: $15–45
