EMPEROR'S NEW GROOVE
Spirit!!
The hunchback of Notre Dame
Spirit was a movie I grew up watching, and it's part of why I want to devote my life to horses
I assume you guys have heard of the series on Netflix…
yeah I have, but I haven't seen it. I don't want to watch it and have it ruin the movie for me
@slytherinsong Just curious, I have a friend who loves Spirit and despises the show
Trust me, the movie will always be better than that series. It's mostly for little kids, I guess. They will never know the real movie though.. :(
I heard somewhere that the Spirit in the series is the offspring of the original Spirit and if that's true then?? why?? give?? the?? baby?? the?? same?? name?? and?? look?? of?? the?? father??
it makes no sense.
My younger sister LOVES the Netflix show, so I decided to check it out. Basically, it has nothing to do with the original Spirit. It's just another horse, similar look, same name, from a wild herd who befriends a girl. Seriously, the movie will always be #1.
I just did research and it said the Spirit in the show is, in fact, Spirit's kid. but then again, can you really trust Wikipedia? I just want a worthy movie sequel, not a kids show. is that too much to ask?
@slytherinsong
Wikipedia may not be the best source of information, but that doesn't mean its unreliable. Most of the info put onto the site is moderated and heavily researched. Also, yes, in the show the main character is Spirit's kid.
I love Treasure Planet SO DANG MUCH. It's probably my favorite Disney Movie. As long as I try to forget how Ben the robot totally butchered all the amazing momentum it had until he came on screen…
Atlantis
Most of the forgotten Disney movies
YES!!!!! Treasure Planet and Atlantis are awesome!!! Has anyone seen Kubo and the Two Strings, The Little Prince, Secret of Kells or Song of the Sea?
Yeah I loved Atlantis, too! I've seen Kubo and Song of the Sea. I didn't like Kubo as much as I'd hoped, but I love Song of the Sea.
Yes, Song of the Sea is great! I'm looking forward to Cartoon Saloon's next movie Wolf Walkers.
Spirit is literally my child hood.Has anyone heard of The scarlet pimpernel? It came out in 1982.
I've heard of the book, and I've read it like ten times. It's an AMAZING book. But I didn't know there was a movie? I always thought it'd make an amazing movie.
It's one of the few movies that fallows the book almost perfectly except we know who the scarlet pimpernel is for the entire movie and we get to watch Marguerite figure it out
Hm I wonder about that choice to have everyone know who it is… Kind of gets rid of the mystery. But I definitely want to watch it now. You've read the book, right?
Has anyone seen Iron Giant?
Scarlet Pimpernel is a great book. I had to read it for school the first time I read it, so at that point I didn't like it :P
I love the scarlet pimpernel! anyone ever heard the musical's soundtrack?? its good.
The Iron Giant is literally one of my favorites. It's hilarious but also so sad
TREASURE PLANET
ATLANTIS THE LOST EMPIRE
I never knew it had a musical WHAT
The Iron Giant is amazing :')
