What are the differences in the stereotypes and character archetypes between a male and female protagonist

@Masterkey

I think male protagonists are often written as clueless, "a nice guy", wimpy (which they will soon overcome) OR already super strong and tough, no questions asked. They're usually just really… boring. Female protagonists often feel like the author is so afraid to seem sexist that they make her unfeeling, stronger and tougher (whatever that means) than her male counterparts, and insanely intelligent (because at the same time, she'll have to be saved by her love interest multiple times and the authors feels the need to give her a better intelligence in the place of her being able to save her own butt).

Male Protagonists: tough, don't show emotion, alpha-male, aggressive, overly-protective (but its made to seem sweet or romantic), brooding, curt, etc.
Female Protagonists: lukewarm, not much personality, always being injured/rescued by love interest, either "tough" or really fragile and delicate. And, huge pet peeve of mine, the only woman with personality in the novel. Closest to guys, tomboy, never really talks with other girls or is overly competitive with them

In a nut shell:

Male protagonist: Everyone is a thot except me 😒

Female protagonist: Everyone is a thot except me 😀
