Hi, I'm Paige! I'm new to this site and want to make friends if anyone is interested. I'm not really sure how this works, but I'm learning! My friend showed me this site as a place to dump all the ideas that were clogging up my mind.
Hello and welcome to Notebook! I'm Lee. I can answer any questions you have, as well as providing advice and feedback.
Hi, I'm Paige! I'm new to this site and want to make friends if anyone is interested. I'm not really sure how this works, but I'm learning! My friend showed me this site as a place to dump all the ideas that were clogging up my mind.
Helooooo Paige! I am Ella NutElla The Ultimately Superior (you can call me Ella) and I am a dork, in case that's not obvious. I like Vocaloid music, Doctor Who, RWBY, Little Witch Academia, a whole lot of video games, and drawing.
That art looks so familiar! Does your friend have Paigeeworld?? It looks like it came from there!
Yes she does, actually! Her username is ArtistEverAfter and she has over 100 followers. (Not too many people know this but the character she drew in that picture is actually one we’ve been working on together for my story)
(What's your PaigeeWorld account, if you don't mind me asking?)
I always take a moment every day to appreciate the great things in my life, for example, this talented person is my cousin (she's so much taller than me)
(Note: this video makes more sense if you have sound on)
Okay so basically it was either the first day of kindergarten or the first day of preschool but basically, I was a very timid child who did not want to leave my mom's side when we arrived and immediately started crying when she tried to leave. I was scared shitless of the other children there, specifically, I was mostly scared of the boys and how they rough-housed. I had much anxiety, even as a tiny child. I was also very gentle and curious. I hated play-fighting.
Then this girl, same age as me, just randomly came up to me and grabbed my hand to get my attention. She had this beautiful, bouncy-but-coarse blonde hair and these brilliant blue eyes that absolutely lit up my world.
She asked me what my name was, and shared hers. Deborah. Lovely little Deborah distracted me from my worries almost immediately. Right after our introductions, I shared why I was scared once she asked.
I distinctly remember her turning to my mother and saying, "Don't worry. I'll protect Lee for you. I'll fight all those boys to keep them away!" and with that, pulling me along behind her, we went off to explore our new temporary home away from home.
But the thing is, she did.
She fought them.
All of them.
She defeated any boy who thought they could hurt me and drag me around like a toy since I was so timid and weak.
I was hers and she made sure all the other kids knew it.
I remember how her hands would always have callouses because of all the fighting, and how mine were always rubbed raw from showing her how much I cared, whether it was from patching her up to catching myself when I fell while running, pushing myself to get back up because I knew she would come find me.
She always did.
