I’m posting an original book on wattpad and I’m hoping to update weekly, and it would be super cool if some of you awesome people on this website would want to check it out, see if it’s your thing, tear it to shreds so I can improve… whatever.
Anyway here’s the summary:
Anna Cervantes is special. When she was a Freshman she realized that when she spoke people had an eerily unnatural tendency to do what she said. Now she's found herself in the unique position of being a fifteen year old member of a government agency that studies magic. With a strange murderer on the loose, a dorky magic wielding crush at her side, and a crazy prophecy at work, the world seems to be more or less falling apart. But who knows, maybe she's the key to saving it.

If you do read it out feel free to let me know what you think either on wattpad or right here :)
Just read the first chapter! I can type out my full feedback if you want, but for now I'm just going to say that it's a great start and I'm excited to see how it plays out!
Read the first chapter and I love it, particularly the line "like shitty natural confetti"
I have not read the full thing, but I have noticed that there are a few grammatical errors, mostly when it comes to commas. I don't know what advice to give you other than try the free version of Grammarly? I'm not sure if it'll detect stuff like that but it's worth a try.
Hello! I'd love to read it, but does it have any explicit scenes or anything? I'm not into that kind of stuff.
Yeah it’s a ya book, there’s some mild swearing but nothing in it will be more explicit than a pg 13 movie

So just incase anyone who might care hasn’t seen this thread, I posted a new chapter. 3 weeks and we’re still going strong. Not going to lie, this has gone better so far than most of my writing resolutions :]
