How would you greet someone when the last time you saw them you confessed to shooting their sister and then knocked them out, and now you really need them to like you?

Um…wow.
okay, I'd either completely avoid them at first or hesitantly approach by trying to get eye contact, and then going up to them and apologizing. idk that's tough question. I don't think I'd be very direct.
I'd HAVE to come up with an elaborate lie. There's no way I could get them to like me unless they somehow believe I didn't shoot their sister at all or didn't do it on purpose. Too bad I confessed before tho.
They can't avoid each other. There's literally this one person who's like "OH here's your friend." and they're like "We're… not… friends."
uuukay….?
um
Let a relationship develop slowly. Have them go through some really rough times together, where they only have each other for support.
