@1want2believe

I use photoshop, now that I have a new laptop that can actually run it. It's the best but kind of complicated. If you take a photoshop class in school like I do you'll learn it a lot faster

heck females are hard to draw, I stick with bois

Yeah, I kinda feel the same way. Guys are easier for me, only because of the fact that I don't have to draw boobs on them. Boobs are hard.

Alright this might make me look like a weirdo but as a female with boobs I know a few things about how to draw them, first off do NOT use circles as guidelines, that never works. Instead use a teardrop-like shape and make sure the tip of the teardrop is connected to the armpit. Second, do NOT do what anime does and make them larger than the moon, not only is that physically impossible in real life but keep in mind that that would bring more problems than keeping a pet elephant, just imagine you have two pillows duct taped to you. It would not only be heavy and uncomfortable, but if you run they’ll probably hit you in the face and you won’t be able to sleep without feeling gross and sweaty and you’ll probably look really fat and you’ll really wish you never had them. Yeah. Also lastly realize that they are round. That seems simple but I’ve seen a lot of drawings with pyramid breasts and not only is that really dumb looking but that doesn’t happen in real life. Ever. In fact they aren’t usually very visible, the closest thing I can think of to compare to them is actually stomach fat. It’s weird, uncomfortable, everyone who has it wishes they didn’t, it jiggles around when you walk and is overall just really annoying. The only difference is usually fat isn’t seen as attractive but when you move it up a little bit suddenly you’re a model or something. I don’t understand that even slightly however I’m not attracted to girls so I probably never will. I can not believe I just sat here trying to explain the anatomy of boobs to a random staranger on the internet… Well since we’re both complaining about the anatomy of peoples, I’m just going to say something that always drives me nuts when I have to draw boys: DO YOU GUYS EVEN HAVE BUTTS? I mean, you all walk around like a two dimensional creature with no shape and I’m supposed to draw that??? I might as well just draw a toothpick with a beard and call it a guy. Or draw a piece of paper with muscles or something because there’s nothing else to draw? You all are like living stick figures and I don’t like it. Centaurs were probably created so there would be more shape to the living pieces of paper referred to as bois. -that is my mini rant for the day

I honestly have never had problems with drawing boobs? Most of my characters are male/monsters but when I was younger I drew exclusively females, so I guess the practice helps. Though I'd like to note that sticking with just one thing and drawing just that for an extended period of time isn't the best idea, as it screwed me over in the long run

I haven’t drawn a boy in a year or two. I’m doomed at this point.

@ninja_violinist

@NutEllaDraws I know I'm way late because timezones but that was such a cool list/review
I live for your commentary (and your hatred of paint.net)
I also love Krita but am relatively new to digital art in general so i don't know a lot of the features and what they do yet

@_sleeby_rat_

really? I don't really see any sort of major difficulty with either, though that's probably because of how many different characters I draw

i guess its because i have sort of a wavy style and guys features are much straighter

Fun fact: a cherry tomato can actually be used as a stylus for your phone. I am typing this entire message with a cherry tomato. This is the life hack of the future. I’m going to be a millionaire.

Same. Curves are easier for me.

@_sleeby_rat_

honestly what a mood lmao. like the one guy that I draw the most is a tired, floofy dude with messy hair and stubble and I think the only problem I've ever had is coloring his stubble lmao

y’all are doing me a hecking confuse, guys are the easiest to draw

Not when you’re used to one set of a style of Anatomy and have to change up your drawling style a bit to fit males in, then it looks weird when you draw it so you never try again then go forgive your sins for making it look very cringey.

I'm actually about to go confess my sins today, looks like it's time to add another one to the very, very, very long list!
