so for the first time in forever–I was feeling mentally good enough to start singing again.

took a few tries. ya gorl is a little rusty. its been over a year.

but I got through a few songs and a took a moment to rest and the Brat Prince was sitting on the floor purrin up a storm.

I cried. He just looked so sweet purring for me.

My cat really loves music, even when she was a kitten she'd come over to my sister and rub up against her when she practiced the recorder. Now she likes to bug her when she plays piano, and also walk across it.

My cat leaves as soon as she sees me open my flute case. She's also not a fan of me singing to her or humming showtunes to myself. Or any music I listen to. Although she tolerates indie for the most part

Yeah actually it was sort of thanks to you. So you once posted something like there was nothing better in the world than being told you were pretty by a lesbian. So I turned to her and asked her to tell me I was pretty. So then we had this thing where she would dramatically tell me stuff like "You. You are so pretty. You're so fucking BEAUTIFUL man! I can't even-" It was fun. And now we always casually greet each other by her saying "Hey cutie? and I reply "What's up girl?" and that, kids, is how I met my lesbian girlfriend.
