@Pickles group

flashbacks to group chats I've been in where everyone's using google translate to speak Danish and the Danish kid is cringing

@bubblegum

Yeah I don't speak it well BUT HEY
I do speak a little for the refugee girl at our school from Venezuela. I basically had two months to learn enough Spanish to guide and be her friend around the school.

Im freakingly thankful to be here, all the people on this site are just the nicest and incredibly talented!

@BrennaKadavsky

Ah Loops that's too much talent
I'm learning Spanish because I couldn't get one of the classes I actually wanted, and because hey why not. No good wholesome reasons here.

@bubblegum

It's her birthday tomorrow so I'm getting her chocolate.
This is what I said:
"Yo quireo chocolat para tu"
I know, not very good, but still

Ahhhh I appreciate that so much but also procrastination is really bad

Ignore that I am currently procrastinating myself….

oof lol
spanish is pretty straightforward (definitely not like english lmao) so I think the message is clear enough

I remember pronouncing it like choclet when I was learning english

@bubblegum

Yeah. There are a lot of people on here who are really good at English, I didn't even know it wasn't their first language. You're one of them!

Deleted user

Thanks, I been practicing since I was a kid so yeah, I kind off have to :)

@bubblegum

Same with French. My dad starting teaching me at a very young age. I very recently started learning Spanish.

Well, it´s a little bit of an advantage, both of them have the same root so part of the spelling isn´t that different (I dont know, I dont speak french but I manage to understand a some sentences)
