Anyway, back to complicated plots. I don't want this to turn into one of those threads.

Oh, sorry. Sometimes I see threads that go completely out fo what they're supposed to be talking about. I want to comment on these threads sometimes but, everyone's talking about something completely different.

Lol. But back to the point, my plots are… all over the place.

Oh, yeah.

Like this human girl gets her family kidnapped by aliens, and then the girl gets kidnapped by good aliens. Then her and the aliens fight the bad aliens and the girl falls in love with one of her alien kidnappers. Plot twist the human girl is actually an alien too and she had no idea. There's lots of death and grief. Her family ends up hating her in the end.

at least you guys can write your plots down. mine is just all in my head and mutates over time into this huge story amalgamation and just ugh….. it gets frustrating when someone asks me to explain my "plot" like no. it changes like everyday

The first time I wrote people would ask me "You're writing a novel? Oh, that's great, sweetie. What's it about?" and I'd be like "ummmm well you see it's hard to explain" and they'd tell me to "just try" and you know what if I say "it's hard to explain" what I really mean is "it's impossible to explain so please shut up so I can read my book which is all I want to do anyway" and that is a long sentence.

People don't even believe me when I say I'm writing a book series because I'm so young. I've given up at this point, mostly because it's a complicated mess. (But, these same people think I'm years older than what I really am. Messed up, right?)

Same. Honestly, I just say "Well, I'm at a bad point in the plot to talk about it all.". It's way to much work to tell them that I'm writing about 4 characters from the 1920's buying a cure-all from a guy called Mr. Odd, suddenly developing different abilities for the trait they wanted, the government trying to hunt them down and put them in a program, them hunting down Mr. Odd, and I have no clue what happens from that point on, and I am so lost.
And then the next day my brain just randomly screams at me "But wait a minute, pet drank cure-all, give me talking DOGS!" and now I have to throw those in there somewhere, lol.
Honestly, it's such a mess.
