Eyah true
I tried once but I didn’t get any out of it

Same here. I just wasted 1000 bells instead.

I think there’s tis graph that shows how much you put in versus net loss or something like that

The best way to earn money is to turn your town into a foreign fruit orchard. If your town fruit is the cherry, for example, grow a ton of apples or oranges (preferably stick to one main type and have a few of the others for favors and such). Because of the ability to stack fruit in acnl, this is a really efficient way to earn money. If you do it right and have the bell boom ordinance enacted, you can have upwards of 120k bells per full harvest. And the island is profitable too. Just don’t keep any cheap fish like mackerels or bass.

Oh no I hate the sea bass
It’s big so you think you’re getting something great….
Anyway, yeah, orchards are great, and just catching the beetle bugs at night on palm trees on the island are very good, too— 6,000-16,000ish bells a piece, but they’re easily scared.

@TheHufflepuffThatWatchesAnime

Go to the island at night and catch beetles. That's the way I get most of my bells. Also, you can still get money trees it just has to be a certain amount. Not sure what it is though….I don't have the golden shovel anymore.

Deleted user

:/ That stinks
Because without the golden shovel, you can’t plant money to grow money trees, but you also need the golden watering can, I think
But ya those bugs be ka-ching

Deleted user

The fruit beetles are worth literally 200 bells.
Not…. worth…. it…
More than the flea, tho

Deleted user

Oh
Then you can do that
I sowwy
But the worst is when random villagers move in, and build their house in the middle of the road

Deleted user

Yeeeeeeah
I try to get them out of my town asap, which probably isn’t nice

Deleted user

The worst is when they move in, and they’re really cool, but they aren’t in your path, but you can’t change it to make the path look natural, i guess????
I don’t even know what I’m talking about

Deleted user

Like, okay….. (try to) picture this.
You have a straight, two-sector wide path. Preferrably one going north-south direction.
Someone moves in, and is forced to remove part of the path, leaving only half of it the actual path.
So there’s just a weird indent in the path.
