I've restarted once, and there are solid perks to restarting. You get to SELL YOUR TOWN. So you start off with several million bells if you have a nice town.

:3 Such an exciting 'Welcome' lol. At first you regret restarting your town but it soon grows on you and it's not terrible. I only restart my town if I pretty much got everything. Like if I have all the golden items, upgraded my house all the way, have all the stores, and finished a TON of town projects. So I like to restart with a fresh slate. :P Wait….@Graveyard_Smash…what version of AC are you playing? Cause that doesn't happen in ACNL.. I wish it did though…
