Hey guys! I'm back! So. I have two extremely important questions.
1st of all. How do I take care and comfort my boyfriend after he's just had FtM surgery and second. What are the responsibilities of a god mother? Thank you all! Love you.
Sincerely, Bleu.
Female to male and I'm a god mother. So someone who basically helps take care of another person's kid. From… My basic knowledge.
Why does the dude need comfort?
At this point… just be there. Make a relationship. Show that you love them, and call them out for bad behavior.
He's in a lot of pain. And I'm not sure how to help him. He's my boyfriend and I want to help him in as many ways possible. And I'm not quite sure how to do that.
Honestly, for pain, there is not much you can do. Just show your love and be sympathetic.
Tell him you'll always be here for him, and tell him that you love him, and how much he means to you! Tell him that no matter what you'll always be by his side! Tell him who he is to you…
Thanks Shuri! You always give the best advice!
I'm just so nervous that something might go wrong…
And as for the responsibilities of a godparent, they take care of kids for someone, they're a substitute parent!

That just means you care about him. He's a good one, Bleu.

I care about him very much. He's definitely a keeper. Just like my notebook family.

You guys really are all keepers! Tell him we say hi if you want to, he sounds awesome!

Definitely. Love you Shuri~! Your advice is greatly appreciated.
I'm glad to be back on notebook.
Make sure you give him a lot of reassurance. Can't do much for the pain but be there. As for godparenting, just take care of the kid as best as you can.
And we're glad to have you back Bleu
Reassurance is actually great! Stick with him!
We are glad to have you back!
If the parents are catholic, then you're responsible for the religious upbringing of the child. If not, then yeah just taking care of them. You're basically just another part of the kid's support network.
I've heard that with FtM surgeries (or for top surgery at least) the dude gets a lowkey version of postpartum depression. Basically, breasts have a ton of hormones in them and taking them away throws off your hormones. I've also heard that this causes them to regret the choice for the first few days after the surgery. If this is the case, just remind him that he made the right decision.
The Moxinator is right, make sure he feels comfy with himself. Compliment him often, yet be sincere!
