(Ah, okay, sounds wild)
Charlotte woke up in a gloomy room, the only feature an outline of a door on the wall in front of her. She struggled, but soon found that her wrists and ankles were tied tightly to the steel chair she was sitting on, another rope around her stomach binding her in place. There was a piece of cloth over her mouth and nose, another wadded up in her mouth.
"I hate small placed." Dwayne muttered, kicking a pile of 'What is this stuff?' through the metal jail gate.
Danni had finally calm down, enough to think logically at least, and looked around. Her eyes had started to adjust to the darkness but not as much as too let her see into the corner with out it blurring in front of her.
Evie was curled into a corner, crying a little.
//are they all in one cell
Also I’m gonna pretend this is where Leelah died, like she isn’t with them and turns out she’s dead
And they killed her cause
um
Transphobia?
(Ok… and the girls and boys are separate, but their cells are close to each other so they can still talk)
//oh ok
"O-Ok…." He stammered, shaking a little, "We know we are in this laboratory, but everyone thought it was abandoned, and if so, who are these people and what are they doing here?"
Thatcher paced back and forth in the cell, brows furrowed in thought. “And why did they feel the need to throw us in here? Something serious must be going on.”
"Well, we were trespassing and… and stealing." Dwayne muttered, "Maybe their were getting us out they way? but no…. We are in the wrong… It must be something else."
Charlotte’s head fell to the side as exauastion overtook her.
William banged his head against the wall. "Do you guys really not get it?" He asked, trying to stop himself from screaming. "This place did hat horrible stuff we saw to the animals. They experimented on them. They're going to do it to us! We're going to die." He slumped down against the wall, holding his head in his hands. "We're going to die."
Evie stumbled to the edge of the cell nearest to the boys. “Are we going to go home?” She asked. “Are they going to let us go home?”
“If they wanted to get us out of the way, we would have been told to leave. They wouldn’t have just locked us in here,” Thatcher responded, walking over to where the door was.
Dwayne glanced at them from the corner of the wall, and blowing a few stray auburn hairs from his face, he said, "All our questions will be answered when the guards come back, but for the time being, we wait…. If we get to noisy and annoy anyone that's around, who knows what will happen!"
“If they wanted to get us out of the way, we would have been told to leave. They wouldn’t have just locked us in here,” Thatcher responded, walking over to where the door was.
William laughed bitterly. "You really think they'll do that?" He shook his head. "People aren't like that. If they want us dead, they'll make it painful, and get uses out of it. They're making us terrified before they end it all for us."
Thatcher’s jaw clenched as he tested the weight of the door, thinking that maybe it would be partly broken like the rest of the building, but it didn’t budge one bit. “William is right, things will get bad if we stay here.”
Danni sits with her back against the wall, she listens to the boys on the other side of the wall.
The little girl slumped back down after realizing the boys wouldn’t be answering. “Do you know where Leelah is?” She whispered to Danni.
"Lets stop thinking about how they are going to kill us and lets start thinking on how we are going to get out of here…. And if not that, lets enjoy the time we have left before the guards come." Sighing, Dwayne leaned back on the wall.
"My dad's gonna think I ran away." William said suddenly, looking up at the door. "He's gonna think I left, that I abandoned him and my brother-" he stopped, and looked back down. "He's not going to care."
"He's going to care if he thinks you ran away." Dwayne muttered as he looked up at the boy, "If he loves you, he'll come looking for you."
“Hopefully someone comes looking,” Thatcher commented, now leaning tensely against a wall.
He shook his head, trying the rid the unwanted thoughts from his head, "Where did they bring Charlotte?"
