Johari walked down the street towards the couple. She kept her head down, trying and not trying at the same time to hide. She bumped into the taller of the two, snatching his wallet before apologizing in a quiet voice and moving on. She walked into the alley, opening the wallet, hoping to see at least twenty dollars. And luckily for her there were two black cards, and a bunch of cash. Johari pulled the ID out and scanned over it. As soon as her eyes came in contact with his name, her heart froze. Nile Varos, the current ruler of Noliv, this wasn't good. If he found her, he would have her put to death, Jo faintly remembered the Grim Reaper coming to take her mother's life,. She wasn't ready to meet Death again.

Azrael was walking down the street, when she bumped into Johari. She remembered the look on her face when she took Johari's mother's life.
"Sorry!" Azrael said, deep and manly, in a feminine way.

Instead of speaking to the oddly familiar person, Johari side stepped them and continued on, not willing to hold contact with someone. All the things on her mind swirled around like a tornado.

"Say… do I know you?" She asked, curious. She looked curiously and intriguing

Johari finally looked up from her sneakers and into Death's eyes. She knew that Death knew exactly who she was, but the answer on her lips was. "No, but I get that a lot."

"Are you sure?' Her storm grey eyes were analyzing.
"I feel like I know you…"

"Like I said, lots of people find me familiar." Johari turned back around to look for the couple, hoping they hadn't left the large stretch yet.

"See ya, eventually." She said, leaving. She went to the lab and did research involving types of death.

Johari closed her eyes for a split second, grateful that Death hadn't tried to take her right then. An encounter with death before you were supposed to die meant nothing good. Johari's eyes shot open at the realization of what Death had said, "See ya, eventually." Her death was close, too close.
