"I just don't know what to do now. I helped you and you probably want to leave and probably never want to see me again." Zara blushed, "But I just think you're cool and different."
She paused, "I'm sorry, that sounds so weird!"
"I just don't know what to do now. I helped you and you probably want to leave and probably never want to see me again." Zara blushed, "But I just think you're cool and different."
She paused, "I'm sorry, that sounds so weird!"
"You don't talk to many people do you? "
Zara’s face turned red, “I have animals and servants. They just don’t talk back.” She mumbled.
"I see that question embarrassed you. "
"I don't have that many friends ok. All the other princesses from other kingdoms are obsessed with princes and royal duties and things like that. I like to spend my time reading or riding or exploring. Princes don't impress me. Neither do fancy ball gowns." Zara froze. "Oh no, the fitting!"
"Be on your way you've bothered me enough go to your fitting princess"
Zara felt a little hurt. She thought maybe she had bonded a little with the vampire but the way she phrased her sentence, hurt Zara a little.
"Sorry for wasting your time." Zara looked at the ground and mumbled. She mounted Daisy and rode off into the forest, looking back at Elynea as she rode away.
Elynea went inside so she could sleep for a few hours before zara rode off tho she locked eyes with her sending a shock through the woman on the horse 'you didn't waste my time I rather enjoyed our little chat' she said this in her head but what was interesting…. Zara could hear her words
Zara pulled on Daisy's reigns and turned to face Elynea, but she was gone. She grinned at herself and continued riding back to the castle.
Arriving back at the stables, we handed Daisy off to the stable hand and headed up to her room to take a quick shower before her fitting. Letting the warm water hit her body, Zara sighed. She was so confused about today, meeting a vampire and making a friend even.
But at the same time, not a friend. Just someone I met outside the kingdom. Who is also a vampire. Zara shook her head and rinsed off her body. She could think about it later, after this dreaded fitting.
Elynea slept peacefully hours had passed over she finally woke up there amber eyes glowing in the darkness she got out of bed a removed her cloak she won't need it until the morning, Elynea was not confused about zara aside from the fact she had never heard or seen a vampire unless it was a fictional character in a story book that was very interesting
Zara headed to the royal tailor's room and knocked before entered. She was ushered around and given a gown to try one. Maids helped her into her clothes behind folding doors and she stood on a small platform as the royal tailor tided the dress up. It was a large, puffy ballgown with a tight corset. Zara hated it and found it hard to breathe and walk. After a few hours, she was finally released and she made her way down to the royal gardens, requesting her lunch be bought out to her whist she was there. She needed the fresh air
Elynea stayed inside most of the day waiting for the sun to set occasionally sending small messages to zara through their thoughts it was nothing to extreme dew to them being far from each other images of certain plans or animals but they stopped shortly after because it had drained her energy
Zara couldn't stop thinking about Elynea, and it didn't help when she started hearing her talk to her in her head. Zara eventually resided to her room and tried reading her new book but she couldn't even make it past the first page. Elynea plagued her thoughts. Zara was captivated with this vampire she had only just met and she made her feel so odd, a feeling she had never felt before. Eventually, Zara dosed off, falling into a deep sleep.
Elynea could tell once zara had fallen asleep with a slight smirk and began reading her books that she had previously bought the sun was still up which aggravated Elynea but she was content with staying inside until it disappeared
Zara woke up from the sunlight hitting her face. After regained memory of the day before, she couldn't help but think of Elynea. Her first thought was to ride out to the cabin, but Zara thought it might seem creepy. She decided to head to the markets again and have morning tea at her favourite tea shop, also half library. She dressed in a flowy yellow dress and picked up her Jane Eyre book and headed to The Tea Book. Zara smiled as she noticed her favourite table was unoccupied, the one outside of the store, underneath a large umbrella to protect her from the suns rays. She ordered her favourite english tea and started her book.
Elynea stayed inside tending to some of the burns she had gotten even with the cloak she was still at risk with was why she didn't go out during the day unless absolutely necessary every now and then she would show zara a new plant she had found simply out of boredom
For once, Zara got bored of reading. She had Elynea on her mind and the only thing that was going to help that was seeing her.
She headed back to the palace and saddled up Daisy, not bothering to change into her riding gear. She attempted following the path to the cabin and was successful. As she got closer, she pulled Daisy to a stop and hestitated.
What if she doesn't want to see me
'You might as well let the horse rest you've come all this way~' she voice was in zara's head once she heard her heartbeat and felt her hesitation
Zara's heart skipped a beat again. She wasn't fully used to someone talking in her head, but it gave her rush of excitement, especially when she knew Elynea didn't seem as hostile as the previous day. She tied Daisy up to the fence and knocked on the door, her dress flowing in the soft breeze.
She grabbed her cloak wrapping her self in it lazily and opened the door squinting through the sun light " I can't come outside today… " she paused for a moment her eyes flicking down zara's body hunger flashing in her eyes but as fast as it appeared it was gone without a trace "….You can come inside though.. "
Zara smiled and stepped into the cabin. She stood in the front room, unsure of what she could do and not wanting to be rude.
She stepped farther into the room discarding her cloak onto a chair revealing her burns she was wearing a loose sleeveless tunic because of them "there's not much to do around here during the day but make yourself at home. "
"Hey, your arms!" Zara grabbed Elynea's wrist and held out her arm with the burns, "You got burnt yesterday, didn't you."
Elynea flinched when zara grabbed her flashing her fangs before taking a breath "…. It's nothing to serious the cloak doesn't always protect me which is why I can't go out most days. "
Zara loosed her grip as Elynea flashed her fangs at her. Was that a threat? She didn't know.
"Well… Do you have good burn reliving cream or gel?"
