“ I was just going for a ride.” Zara gestures to Daisy, “And I came across this cabin and found it intriguing.”
“ I was just going for a ride.” Zara gestures to Daisy, “And I came across this cabin and found it intriguing.”
"Do you normally come poking your nose into things that intrigue you? "
“I am not poking my nose into this, I’m merely looking around.”
"Looking around someone else's property which you don't belong. " she took another step back dew to the sun shifting again
“It looked abandoned.” Zara noticed elynea stepping back in took a step forwards.
She scoffed at her answer but didn't question her " I intrige don't I? "
"You're just, different, from other people I meet. You're not a royal who is trying to impress me nor commoner who won't speak to me because I'm royalty."
"I'm simply someone who doesn't care. " she stepped back bumping into the tree she was under
"You seem to care about a lot of things. Like why I'm looking at your house and why you are trying to hide in the shadows." Zara took another step closer. They two were much closer together now but Zara couldn't se her face properly due to the shadows.
"I hide in the shadows to protect myself princess something you clearly need to learn. "
"What are you protecting yourself from? This kingdom is relatively safe and rather peaceful."
"Your kingdom doesn't take kindly to creatures such as myself. "
"You're not even living in the kingdom so how do you know who we like. My father is the greatest king of this century and he is so because he has kept peace." Zara defended her beloved kingdom and father, "And what do you mean by creature. Are you not human?"
"Have you ever met a human with glowing amber eyes that refused to let the sun touch her? "
"I-well," Zara was puzzled. It was true there was something off about this girl, but she had no idea what it could be, "No, I haven't."
"Are you familiar with the legend of Dracula? "
"A little, yeah. I read a book about him when I was younger."
"And an similarities between me an him? "
Zara connected the dots in her head. The glowing eyes, the shade, the sudden disappearance in the market. Her eyes wided, "You're a vampire!" She didn't know what to do. If she moved, it would show that she was afraid, scared. But if she stayed, she could be in danger. Zara decided to keep her feet planted. Elynea didn't seem too dangerous and for all Zara knew, vampires being dangerous could just be sterotypes.
"Well that shouldn't have taken this long for you to figure out but yes congratulations. "
"Well I'm sorry that I didn't know you were a vampire." Zara huffed and crossed her arms, "I didn't even realise they existed. I thought they were just myths."
"The vampires that you know are myths, there are mear similarities and some things that are completely ridiculous. "
"Like what?"
"The fact we can't be around garlic the stake through the heart would kill anyone I don't know why they say it only kills us, the fact that we're all blood sucking monsters is partially true."
"So you actually kill people? And drink their blood?"
