"Sounds strange and Alex would never change he was WAY to confident in his looks i mean he was in love with his look" Loki chuckled thinking of how vain Alex could be at times then hoping that the youngest one, who she couldn't see the face of, was Alex she did a whistle that sounded like the Hunger Games Mockingbird whistle
The youngest one looked around the hall and eventually looked straight at the room Loki and Sebastian was in. It was someone Loki definitely knew.
“Who’s there?” He shouted out.
Loki had ducked down whispering a spell that faded her hair from the normal black, green, and blonde to just the platinum that the blonde in her hair had been and she walked out of the room into the line of site of the youngest figure
(loki was blonde as a kid that is why she had blonde highlights in her hair)
The youngest one narrowed their eyes a bit before going into sprint towards Loki. Upon arrival, he hugged Loki immediately.
“Where were you?!” He started to tear up a bit but kept his voice steady.
Loki knew she was crying "I-No…WE thought we lost you Alex. Me and Rouge" She held Alex at arm length going full big sister mode spinning him around a few times "They didn't hurt you did they"
“No—“ Alex paused to wipe his tears “—they were the ones who saved me from the angels outside” he pointed at the two figures who both smiled warmly at the siblings’ interaction.
"THANK NYX! That is a relief angels hate our family it seems like" Loki chuckled and it felt amazing to talk to her brother, her REAL brother.
Sebastian went to talk to the two figures.
“They told me that right now both angels and demons are attacking the Labyrinth so no one except the Phantoms are our friends they said…” Alex brought up. The very faint voices of the two figures who were with Sebastian was very nice to listen to.
Loki smiled remembering Lychan "always have been one for the neutral side haven't you Alex"
Sebastian walked towards the siblings.
“Sorry to break your interaction but I have good news for you…” he smiled a bit.
“The two figures there have already contacted the one in charge of the inter portals that connect to the Labyrinth, meaning that if you can go to him, you’ll finally be able to go home”
The figure backed up and rubbed their jaw.
“First off, oww? Second thing—“ they touched their watch and moved their finger a bit on it. They gave the fallen figure a glance and time started running backwards only for the fallen figure. They rewinded back to where the figure was still standing in front of Selik.
“So… what do you mean by… me getting hurt…?” The crazy figure didn’t notice the other figure behind them.
Kye rolled his eyes and turned to the figure. He ripped out a dagger of his own from his satchel, and instantly had it pressed to the crazed figure's throat. "Becaus if you hadn't backed down I would have forced you to back down," his voice held a note of threat. "Now drop the knife and explain why you find it necessary to randomly attack people. And it had better be a good reason."
Loki, who had been holding Alex's hand since she spun him, smiled a squeezed his hand "Home sounds amazing"
The figure sighed.
“My aura pool’s flow relies on blood to run naturally so if I don’t try to hunt others… I’d die…” they explained, not at all trying to struggle out of Kye’s grasp.
Sebastian nodded and grinned.
“I know, now…” the tall young figure behind Sebastian walked up to stand in front of the siblings “…he will be the one guiding you to the said portal manager while this man—“ he gestured to the oldest figure “—and I will fight off the angels so you can all make a run for it. That man is in the Central Hall so it’s not a long distance from here” Sebastian regarded as he walked towards the door.
“Ready?”
Loki looked at Alex and nodded "Just like the old days. Running for our lives to save our asses" she laughed tapping Alex's shoulder as if to say tag then ran towards Sebastian
Kye sighed and took a step back, letting his arm fall to his side. "So you're a vampire."
Opening the door, Sebastian started by distracting the angelic figures to him.
The figure assigned the task to guide Loki and Alex started running towards a building a bit faraway while the other older figure started attacking the angelic figures.
“Sorta…” the figure shrugged when he answered. “The purer the blood, the longer I can use it so that’s why I hunt down good people…” he tried to explain.
Loki grabbed Alex's hand and sprinted with him in tow "Don't hate me if i pop your arm"
"Hm," Kye turned to the other knight that was behind the vampire figure. He looked at him for a moment with something unreadable on his face. Then looked back at the vampire figure. "Why don't you use the people that are causing problems for you guys?"
Alex shook his head.
“Completely fine at this point!” He somewhat shouted to reply to his sister.
“As I’ve said, killing those people mean nothing to my survival. One corpse of a sinner is worth ten minutes only but a pure and loyal one could worth a week or a month depending on how much a good person they are…” the insomniac figure replied; eyes dead tired and skin crisp.
Loki had slowed to a brisk jog but still a decent pace "well okay that should be fine"
(boop! boops altrince to wake him up)
Kye sighed, looked at the figure a bit longer. Then he turned away and punched a wall. He took a breath and let his shoulders slump. "Okay, then we can find something else. Maybe."
Soon, the siblings and the knight arrived at the building they’re supposed to go to.
“Alright…” the knight opened the door for the siblings as he created a barrier that shielded all of them from an attack from above them “… go in”
Everyone there near Kye blinked confusingly.
“A-Alrighty then” Selik shrugged.
“Any ideas?” He continued, fidgeting with his smoke bombs he had on him.
"At the moment? I'm still trying to figure out what I'm doing here," Kye explained. "To answer your question bluntly, I have no clue."
You just broke your hand.
Yeah I know. Shut up.
How helpful is that supposed to be?
It's not suppose to be helpful. It's reminding me not to lose my temper.
No more breaking bones please.
Fine.
