"Okay. I guess that makes sense. But where does the portal lead to?" Hinata asked. She felt bad about asking so many questions.
“To a place known to the Labyrinth as The Paradise. A place where two of the Mythical Warriors live—“ he pointed at the statues “—Asawin, the first Royal Knight and Ratri, the first Officer and Magician” he stated.
“They are arguably the strongest warriors of the Labyrinth… well, that’s what I’ve heard at least”
Loki couldn't hide the flash of pain his question had given her. Her eyes watered but she tried to keep her voice steady "Loki Hyakuya your eldest sister. I've come to bring you home. Rouge needs you and so do I" She had met her breaking point in her last words as silent tears streaked down her face
(This is gonna hurt but… let’s see)
The boyish figure raised a brow and knocked his head to the right.
“Home? What are you talking about? This is my home” he answered with such confidence that it was hard to believe he remembered anything about his past self.
"Thank you for answering my questions," Hinata said, grateful for the clarification.
Loki closed her eyes, summoned Lychan and twined her fingers with his for strength and comfort, and tried to restore Alex's memories whispering through her tears "Please remember. For Rouge, your twin"
"Thank you for answering my questions," Hinata said, grateful for the clarification.
“You are very welcome” he stood up.
“Do you mind if I tag along for a bit? I don’t have anywhere to go just yet” he stretched and grunted as he asked.
Loki closed her eyes, summoned Lychan and twined her fingers with his for strength and comfort, and tried to restore Alex's memories whispering through her tears "Please remember. For Rouge, your twin"
The figure from earlier, the one who opened the door eyed both Loki and Alex. Their eyes flashed once when Alex opened his mouth to answer.
“Ooh, that’s a nice partner you have there, what’s his name?”
Hinata stood as well, bowing slightly before straightening up.
"Of course," She said. She wasn't about to refuse him, after he was nice enough to answer her pretty random questions.
"Lycharirumon or Lychan" Loki spoke up trying to dry her tears
“Thank you” he said exclaimed with a small nod.
[Where to go?]
(The Central Hall)
(The Research Building)
(The Royal Building)
(The Great Plains)
(Joshua’s Hallways)
(Kristin’s Hallways)
(Karat’s Hallways)
The figure who eyed Alex before moved away from the room and went into another. As soon as the door closed, the boyish figure turned to his sister and…
“Let’s get out of here before he catches us…” he whispered with a small giggle.
Loki looked up into Lychan's eye and nodded "Are you hypnotizing Alex? If not why did your eyes flash?"
“Explanation comes later, as for right now, let’s just go…” the boy seemed to be in a hurry, he knew what the consequences were for trying to escape. As soon as he closed the door, he turned left and right to scan for potential threats.
Hinata nodded in response to the alchemist's thanks. She left the room, heading back to Karat's hallway.
"teleport." Loki spoke in a calm voice even if they were running
(Last reply of the night for me)
Along the way back to Karat’s hallway and as soon as Hinata got outside, sounds of horses can be heard racing through the winds of the deserted place. In the faint distance, a chariot can be seen chasing down… someone.
[Continue heading back to the hallway]
[Go see what’s going on from a closer distance]
(Okay, good night!)
Hinata froze for a moment when she spotted the chariot. Crap. Hinata followed the pursuit with her eyes for a moment.
"Not him again," she murmured. Torn for a moment, she decided to see exactly was going on and started making her way over. If things got too heated, though, she would be out of there before anything could happen to her or the alchemist, because she really didn't want to fight right then.
Walking closer, it was quite clear who the Chariot Master was chasing; Jackal and Alan. They didn’t seem to be in too much trouble trying to dodge the barrage of swords that came their way though.
Hinata watched for a moment.
"It looks like they can handle themselves, right?" She asked.
Looking closer, Jackal was holding something in his hand; The Aquarius Inscription.
He turned left and right as he was running and spotted Hinata. He then summoned a small pumpkin, stored the inscription in it and threw it to Hinata while also mouthing Run, now.
Hinata caught the pumpkin and nodded, not hesitating as she turned and ran, praying that the Chariot Master hadn't spotted them.
The Chariot Master was way too distracted by Alan’s fatal form that he didn’t see what Jackal succeeded in doing.
The Alchemist looked at the inscription and turned to Hinata.
“All the twelve inscriptions… have been united?” He asked, genuinely surprised as he ran after her.
[Where are we running to?]
(The Celestial Hall)
(Karat’s Hallway)
(The Central Building)
"Yeah," she said, steering towards Karat's hallway, "Is it that weird?"
“Very, no one’s done it in my time and there’s only one other person before you who managed to do that and right now he’s a Viscount of the Labyrinth” he explained, following her every step.
"Oh wow," Hinata said.
"Still, I couldn't have done it without a lot of help."
