Dee nodded. "Thank you." They said quietly, placing a few coins on the counter and heading over to the other two gods. They raised an eyebrow at Blair and a thin smirk grew on their face. "What are you doing?" Blair asked as Dee poured the vodka down his shirt. "This is because you summoned me for no reason."
Eya gave a small huff (but nothing more) at the God's reply. Her choice web didn't matter now, nor would it later.
"great! A few demons a few God's, a few killers, all in good fun." Jerch looked around at the array of being in the tavern and smirked to himself
Demons? Murderers? Ava thought to herself. The gods were okay, but really? I should probably get out of here at some point. "Well, it's been lovely meeting you all," she said in a strained voice, forcing a smile onto her face.
Calix noticed the strain in her voice then walked over. "Everything alright?" He asked her quietly.
"I'm dealing with the seven deadly sins. I mean, they're helping me out, but I'm frankly a little scared of them." Connor finished his drink. "I'm only human."
The fake smile disappeared off her face, to be replaced with a weak one. Genuine this time, though. "Oh hey Calix. You heard his words, right? There are freaking murderers here."
Calix nodded and smiled. "Kid, yeah there are murders here. Though I'd anyone pulls out a weapon or attempts to murder someone here… They will deal with me."
"Aha… okay then…" Ava replied doubtfully.
Calix nodded and hugged her then walked back over to the bar and stood behind it.
Eya looked down at her book. Ava appeared to know very little about her current situation. That was to be expected of at least one of these people.
(yes you may call me chibi-chan or whatever, I don't mind XD)
Ava looked down at her lap. She trusted Calix, but… she still didn't feel safe. But she did feel better knowing that he was confident that he'd be able to stop any danger.
"Now this just got tempting…." Jerch grinned and slowly stood, he walked the perimeter of the bar before leaning against a wall and looking each being in the eye
"Kid, shady taverns are litterly where most murderers are born." A new jersey like accent said from behind Ava.
Calix looked at them, "Are you calling this place shady?" He asked in a fake offended voice.
The voice didn't have anywhere it was coming from, it was just there. "Yeah, though any tavern in this part o' town is shadier than a rat's underside."
Blair took one glance at the voice and grabbed his friends and walked out the door. "Nope, not dealing with this today."
"This part of town isn't shady, sure there have been murders and stuff nearby. But this place is pretty nice." He sighed and glared slightly.
The voice made a sound like they were popping a gum bubble before answering. "Murda's equals shady."
"Oh whatever." Calix sighed then finished his glass of vodka.
"Pretty much," Eya said in a relaxed voice that didn't portray her tensed physique. "Someone understands."
D'var made his way across the room and pulled himself into a seat at the bar. He smiled at Calix. "Excuse me, is doing magic prohibited in here?" The boy asked.
"Clearly not," Eya answered with explicit hauteur. "Some people just don't, clearly, D'var."
"I mean a different kind of magic, Ms. Angry Pants." D'var replied, his smile not faltering. He kicked his legs a little as his tail wrapped around the leg of the seat. "As my mentor would say, mind your own business."
"Does it really matter, D'var-chan?" Eya chirped with an underlying current of danger.
"Magic isn't prohibited as long as…" Calix sighed then pulled out a pretty decently sized book about the rules and stuff of the establishmen he took a few seconds and read the page about magic, "magic isn't prohibited as long as it isn't used to, vandalize something, hurt, injure, kill, or antagonize, someone." He said boredly then looked over at them "Sooooooo, yeah you can use magic."
