“I’ll come with you. Safer I think,” Myrin said wryly. She drew her weapon and took a step towards Shadul, the bronze blade gleaming under a film of filth. “Don’t really feel like being disemboweled.”

@GoblinKing

"You're a smart one." Shadul made her way out of the tavern, stepping on the fallen orc's body as she did so. "The battle's brutal out there, but you're good enough, I think." She chuckled, readying herself to spring into battle.

@GoblinKing

"Ah.. After this I need to go home. Gotta go home for my basket, you know? Skulls don't make themselves- well, actually- no, they don't clean themselves." Shadul's coarse voice had a sense of humor to it, oddly enough. She made her way to the battlefront, immediately getting into it with a hulking beast of an orc.

“I’m still a little weirded out by the skull thing!” Myrin yelled. She threw herself into the fray, slashing the hand of a club-wielding orc. The orc let out a piglike squeal, swinging its weapon inches from Myrin’s head. Rolling to the side, she stabbed the beast in the thigh and scrambled away before it could grab her.

@GoblinKing

Shadul was knocked to the ground by the beastly figure, the breath knocked out of her. He aimed for her gut with his weapon, although he missed the plunge and sent it into the meat of her thigh. "Fuck!" She snarled, swinging her axe up. The orc was taken to the ground, right leg severed and left leg torn open in a huge gash.

@GoblinKing

"Fucking yeah.. I'll be okay." Shadul tried to stand- or at least sit up- but pain shot through her. "Gods- Okay, uh- fuck, give me a second."

@PuffPoff

Caspian had knocked down a few orcs, but it was proving difficult to kill too many from her position on the edge of the battle. She silently cursed her past self for never learning how to fight, and instead studying medicine and religion.
Still, she only continued to use her magic against the orcs. Caspian knew that if she got too close, the orcs would crush her like a twig.

@GoblinKing

Shadul fought to sit up, still doing what she could to thin out the approaching orcs. Her mind was clouded with a weird concoction of fear, pain, adrenaline, and anger. Her axe would need a good sharpening and cleaning after this. Shadul tried again to stand, this time actually making it. She leaned heavily on her non-injured leg.

Divine noticed the wounded woman and ambled over, hitting an orc to the ground with their large tail. With a huff, they curled the tail around her waist and set her on their back, shifting two horns behind her and in front of her to keep her in place.

An animalistic grumble was growled out of the monster's mouth, it took few tries, until:"I'd rather not let my new guildmate die in our first battle."

@GoblinKing

"Who is this? I'm really not interested in playing any goddamn games righ' now. Too fuckin' injured." Shadul grunted, gripping onto Diving the best she should. The spear still stood in her leg. 'I cannot wait for this fucking raid to be over." She snarled, voice dripping with disdain.

"Divine, I didn't introduce myself." They laughed, swiping at an orc with a growl. "I'm the supposedly human who sat at your table."

@GoblinKing

"…Supposedly human, huh? Yeah, I remember you. What are you really, then?" Shadul talked as much as she could, trying to ease her mind off of the pain.

"A shifter." They were leaving something out, quite obviously. They crushed another orc and stepped on his toes.

@Yamatsu

Seeing everyone walk back into the melee, Yama gawped for a second before resigning himself to the battle and making sure no one died in the process.

"Alright, bud! You ready?"

Ferrenom's teeth clashed together in anticipation, small sparks falling to the ground. Yama picked up the chain and heaved the creature into a nearby cluster of orcs, knocking them down. Each wide swing utterly decimated anyone caught by Ferrenom's body, and Yama took pleasure in wrapping several orcs together and tossing them into the left flank trying to sneak into the town.

Myrin grabbed Shadul’s arm and tried to support her weight, knees shaking from the effort. Distracted, she didn’t realize a weapon was crashing toward her, clipping her shoulder. Pain flared brightly in her arm and she let out a grunt. Ouch!

@PuffPoff

Caspian was trying her hardest, but she knew it wasn't enough.
She closed her eyes, slowing her breaths as she tried to calm herself down. "Please Great Mother, help me. I need this to work."
The water she was controlling rose into the air, swirling into a small cloud that drifted above the heads of two orcs. She let it hover there for a bit before slamming her fist to the ground, causing shards of ice to shoot out from the cloud like bullets. The two orcs fell to the ground, dozens of ice shards now sticking out of their bodies.

@Yamatsu

"All of that for two orcs?! Wuss!" Yama cried. "Let me show you how it's done!"

Lifting his right foot into the air, the Half-Dragon stomped the ground and a shockwave tore up dirt as though a new hill was being created from sheer power alone. From that uneven earthen ramp, soil condensed into forearm-length spikes that shredded the orcs' leather armor and bronze plating, and the group of fifteen that tried to charge him suddenly looked like green pincushions.

(Flexing because he's kind of a dick)

@PuffPoff

Caspian watched in awe as the dragon-man knocked out fifteen orcs simultaneously. His words made her flinch a bit. Still, she politely clapped for him.
"That was really cool!" Caspian shouted over the noise of the battle. "Can you teach me how to do that?"
She didn't wait for an answer. Instead, she focused on her small ice cloud and knocked down three more orcs.

@Yamatsu

"Uh…"

Yama's magic was hereditary, but another group of orcs decided to hurl themselves bodily at him, saving him from having to make some excuse or false promise. Lifting Ferrenom, he scratched a spot on its underbelly, causing its mouth to open. Yama planted Ferrenom into the ground, its teeth locking onto a boulder that was buried a few inches underground. Pulling with all of his might, the Half-Dragon tore the boulder from the ground and swung it over his head, crushing the orcs into pink mush. They weren't very smart, given the many ways that their comrades met an untimely end, but they were certainly determined. What on earth was in this town that would incite such a suicidal raid?

@GoblinKing

Shadul staggered upwards, finally getting her grounding and easing off of Myrin's arm. "Hey- You okay? Let me see." Shadul knocked the orc onto his back with the flat of her large axe, inspecting Myrin's arm.
