As the sun returns, you gather yourselves and prepare to continue on your way. Before you leave, Scur gives you a week's worth of dried meat, filled waterskins and extra furs for your journey. During your time at the centaur village, the waybeast has become loyal to you and happily carries your supplies. The snow makes it difficult to move quickly and you make little progress. With the sun out it turns soft and the heat of summer returns. The snowstorms stop for the time being.

Your journey has spanned on for about two weeks since you left the village. When your rations ran out you most likely survived on crackers and small game. The area you have entered is hilly with a sparse scattering of conifer trees. The mountains rise on your left and out on the tundra you see a herd of mammoth passing through. There are strong winds whistling through the peaks above you and clouds drifting across the sky, casting shadows across the ground. You can't see it but you can imagine a storm rolling in from across the mountain range. Heading deeper into the mountains is an option.

Arabella took one painful step after the other, wincing each time her foot touched the ground. Two weeks. Two weeks of this madness. Bella had grown thinner during those two weeks. Her red shirt and black pants barely fit anymore. Hunger pains became normal as crackers weren’t filling and Clare didn’t like sharing. Her limp red hair (yes, I’m bringing up the Hair again.) was dirty from the weeks of travel and her once pale skin was burnt and raw. She tripped for what felt like the billionth time that day and let out a string of curses. Her head swam from the heat. This was miserable!

@Trix

Right, left. Iris shielded her eyes, feeling every step trudge into snow. Shivers racked her body, the cold surprisingly being her biggest enemy. Her feet would've been numb had it not been for the constant walking. Just… walking. Left. Her parched lips opened to gruffly suggest, "Should we break for tonight?" Right. Her hand trembled, slowly lowering to the sheath. Left, right.

@Relsey-TheElder

Clare looked around at there surroundings, "Let's head deeper into the mountain! SHe shouted over the wind, " We'll find more shelter there!" Her eye's stung from the cold wind and her legs burned, her body begged for water but she resisted the urge to deplete there meager supplies further, Clare had had enough water and food to last several weeks for one person, with the addition of three people and a way-beast her supplies had gone faster then she had expected. She shuddered in the wind and leaned on the way-beasts side as she walked.

@hyunjins-eyemole

Arabella glanced at the others, how could they keep walking?!? She stumbled again. She wished she could fall and never get up. That sounded nice. To just lay down for eternity. Yes. That sounds perfect. She tripped for real and landed on her knees, reopening cuts from previous falls and creating new ones. “Fuck.” She slowly rose from the ground. walk. Just walk.

@Simon-Says

Azriel, who hadn't understood anything anyone had said, reached out an arm to help Arabella up. She didn't understand why the girl couldn't walk like a normal human, but maybe she was like a small child and needed assistance? No one would let her help them, so the journey had been more difficult for them than it had been for her. She was starving and in a constant state of nausea, but at least she wasn't exhausted from walking.

@hyunjins-eyemole

Arabella took Azriel hand and smiled at her, hoping she would get that it meant thanks. Quit being so pitifully clumsy you freak! She just had to walk a little bit longer and- she stumbled again. It didn’t matter, her pride had vanished long ago.

@Simon-Says

Sighing slightly, Azriel folded her wings at her sides and put an arm around Arabella to help her walk, manipulating the wind to push her along. It was confusing, the way Arabella was acting, but then, she supposed, she hadn't met many humans. Maybe they were all like this.

@hyunjins-eyemole

Arabella sighed a sigh of relief as she felt the wind push her along. This was so much easier than trying to walk by herself. Azriel was so lucky. Lucky she wasn’t tired, but lucky she had someone who cared about her. i wonder what she’s like.

@Simon-Says

Azriel shivered slightly, but continued gliding along with her arm around Arabella. If the girl fell one more time, she didn't think she would have the willpower to pick her up again.

@hyunjins-eyemole

(Btw, sorry if my character is acting weirdly feisty, it feels like that to me, but I’m doing another character that is really mean, Emmy knows. She’s, -my character- well, interesting.)

@Trix

Iris’s silver eyes sharpened as she watched Azriel gently bring an arm around the human. Well, didn’t they looked cosy. Right, left, right, left. Arabella even smiled at her. Left. Her angel. Right. Her cheeks flushed with newfound warmth, as she stared at the ground. Left, right. She death-glared the snow, a queasy feeling spooling into her stomach. At some point her weary feet had begun stomping. Her hair fell over her face, masking the scowl. Left. Right. Left.

@hyunjins-eyemole

Arabella glanced at Iris. Was she jealous? I should step away from Azriel. Bella smiled at Azriel one last time to thank her and stepped away. She walked over to Iris, “what’s wrong, Iris? And don’t say nothing.”

@Simon-Says

Azriel looked over confusedly, but wrapped her wings around herself again. "Are you alright?" She asked both Iris and Arabella.

@Trix

“If anyone here has something wrong, it’s you,” the elf’s icy voice mumbled in Medein, muffled by a curtain of hair darker than the night. It was surprising the damned snow wasn’t steaming, by now, after thoroughly withstanding Iris’s searing glare.

@hyunjins-eyemole

Bella quickened her pace and hurried away from Iris. Yeesh. What was wrong with her? She was jealous. But why? Azriel was just being friendly. They couldn’t even talk.

@Simon-Says

Brow furrowing in confusion, Azriel glided over to Iris. "Have I done something?Whatever I've done, I'm sorry, I'd never intend to hurt you," she explained emphatically.

@Relsey-TheElder

Clare rolled her eye's, they were wasting time talking, it wasn't a good idea to talk when you're this dead, It brought nothing bad bad feelings and broken hearts. "Hate to break up the tension but I think I've found a place to settle down." She pointed up wards and to the left where the opening of a cave could be seen.
