(Oh woops sorry usually I wait for breaks in between but I didn't see your post there. Not that it really matters since you're in the tent but eh)

Bella looked up at the centaurs. “Good morning.” She said stiffly.
Iris observed Scur's mother, something akin to excitement gleaming in her eyes. "Strangers not like Mother, too," she drawled. "Unless Hida can fight?" The elf was positive this centaur would not go easy on her, and it had been a solid few weeks since the Yrnan was beaten to a pulp. She sure as hell could use some sharpening.
Clare heard the comment from inside the tent stormed out, "Iris! Mam I must apologize for her harsh words I'm afraid she lacks sufficient manners to be left alone in any type of situation." She glared at the Elf more sure then ever that Iris had a death wish.
Arabella followed Clare outside with a grin in her face. “Guess I’m not the only one to be rude to a centaur.” Now she wasn’t the only one Clare could be mad at. Good.
"This is true," Iris mused toward Clare, arching a brow. "Though, I also am lacking skill in fighting. Getting rusty. You can fuss over the girl who bled out on your crackers." She jutted her chin in the general direction of Arabella, a smirk toying on her lips. Her vision strayed back to Hida. "So?"
Arabella glared at Iris fir a minute, then flipped her silky red hair over her shoulders and swiftly walked back into the tent. “whatever”.
(ah sorry I'm reaaally busy right now and I won't be able to reply for a while. if you really want to someone can have a go at narrating while I'm MIA just to keep things moving)
(Will do! Who wants to narrate?)
(curls into a little ball of stress)
(Not it)
(Ok. I’ll narrate.)
(It won’t be good, but, it’ll be something.)
(Alright lit)
(Ok. Attempt one.)
Hida grumbled something about guests not accepting their hospitality and walked away, but Huw stays as Scur follows Hida.
“hope you slept well! You welcome to stay as long as eclipse stays, but then must go. Mother Hida not like you.” Huw looked apologetic as he said the last sentence.
“I leave now. Goodbye.” The centaur turned and left the foursome to themselves.
(How was that. Idk what I was doing…. that seems really bad and cringe worthy. Sorry)
(heyy I think I've gotten my life back in order although I might still be a bit flaky. So it's your decision how much time you spend roleplaying and how much time you want to skip past. Just let me know)
(Also that wasn't so bad, thanks for filling in!)
Clare visibly relaxed when the centaurs left, she turned and stomped into the tent muttering something about needing a spa day before descending into her bag.
After the encounter, the centaurs leave you alone for the most part except for Scur who checks on you often. He seems more curious than suspicious and you suspect that the questions he asks you aren't asked with any malicious intention. You barely notice the days passing as the halo of light rises and falls. Frost gathers on every surface and snowstorms sweep across the tundra. The tough grass clings to life but the ground underfoot has turned to frozen mud and slush. The eternal dusk-like state that encapsulates the world only fades when night comes and the ice-white stars flicker into existence. Eventually, the moon begins to edge away from the face of the sun and a tiny crescent of light brings a new warmth to Medeis.
“Glory be! The sun has risen!” Arabella basked in the sliver of light that shone in her face. “But why is it so bright?”
"Are you complaining?" Iris deadpanned, her tired voice gravelly. She hadn't dared to sleep until the third night, and even at that, paranoia kept her alert every waking moment. The elf stretched up from her bundled form, relishing the minimal heat sunlight provided.
(k so now we're getting to the part I was looking forward to. let me know when you're ready to continue the journey)
(I'm ready to continue if everyone else is down?)
( I am present)
