"Ha! Mortal?" Aza sneered, eyes glowing violent green.

Lorrehlyl summoned her light magic, a grim look set on her face.
“Mortal or not, you must die.”

"I'd let you take my life if I had nothing to live for," Aza said resignedly. She dropped to her knees.

Lorrehlyl stepped up, twin daggers of white hellfire flickering to life in her hands. A tentacle of pure light magic sprouts out of the ground and wraps around Aza, pinning her arms to her sides. Lorrehlyl slices her blade across Aza’s throat, killing her with a blinding pain.

Aza's wound closes instantly, and she opens her mouth, black smoke pouring out. She lets out an ear-piercing scream, causing all sources of light to be snuffed out. "You can't kill me. Not while my mission is unaccomplished," she says bitterly

"Maybe not, but I only need your blood." Lorrehlyl grabs Aza's arm, slicing it open.

Aza's wound closed instantly around the knife, leaving it embedded in her arm.

Lorrehlyl ripped the knife out, disappointed.
“Seriously? No blood?”

"I'm immortal. And a vampire. I have no need for blood in my veins." Aza said.

“Ugh!” Lorrehlyl sat defeated on the ground, her head resting on her fingers in thought.
