Fyn jogged after Cassidy and just stood to the side while she ranted, a small grin appearing on his face as he leaned against a tree.

Cassidy looked thoughtful for a moment. "There are some caves about a mile from here, and they're well hidden. Only a lucky person would stumble onto them" She turned back to Kai. "And the chances were actually better for you, by the way, if you had doubled back because they wouldn't be expecting it." she looked back at Dabria. "Want me to lead the way on foot? I'm not very good on horseback."

@Joy_

Cassidy smiled for the first time, even if it was a little smirkish. "You are one to pick your battles, aren't you?" she said ruefully. "I'll go scout ahead and meet you back here in a few minutes. Just signal again once you retrieved the horses."

Khasar lifted his head, forked tongue slipping past his lips to test the air. Hm, the scent of smoke and fire was coming from the east. He couldn't help but growl softly under his breath, tail lashing to the side.
"Stupid fools, never let a human do a demon's job."
A sudden shadow appeared next to the male, taking shape of a tall, pale man with black hair. His eyes were a bright, teal green, pupils black. The stranger's hands were deep in the pockets of a jacket around his body. His voice was monotone, emotionless.
"You summoned me master?"
"Yes Kamos, for I know that you and Devola are the only ones I can truly count on in this surface world."
Kamos, as was his name, gave a bow to Khasar, "You flatter us sire."
"Though enough of this talk. Kamos, I wish for Devola and yourself to start the hunt upon the ground. You can fly lower to the ground without being seen unlike myself, and Devola is best for searching on the ground. I shall be taking the young idiot…excuse me, 'prince', to the skies above."
Khasar made a soft hiss under his breath, tail lashing in an agitated manner. He growled something in an unknown tongue, then turned his gaze back to the pale man before him. Khasar's eyes swirled to the red of earlier, pupils thin slits that were nearly lost in the vast red. His lips twitched, showing sharp fangs underneath.
"Do not fail me."
"Of course my lord," Kamos bowed his head slightly again, then turned, disappearing just as soon as he had appeared next to Khasar.

Yashiro went back to his room. He grabbed a simple leather satchel, pulling the strap over his head to rest against his shoulder. The prince took a moment to look around his room, grabbing a few simple things, tucking them away into the satchel. He went to the side of his bed, grabbing the sheathe that held his favored weapon, a katana that fit him perfectly. Yashiro attached the weapon to his belt, in easy gripping distance to pull out should he need it.
Once he finished there, Yashiro went back down the stairs, entering the kitchen area. He grabbed a couple, simple loafs of bread, also stuffing them into his bag. With the food, he also took a canteen full of water. Only the gods and goddesses would know how long he would be out before returning to the castle.
The prince exited the giant doors, heading into the courtyard. Waiting for him, was the figure of Khasar. Yashiro watched as the draconic male turned to face him. He gave the prince that soft, fake kind smile. Khasar glanced back up towards the sky, a soft prrum coming from him, tail slowly swaying.
"Ah, there you are Prince. Are you ready to take flight?"
Yashiro came to stand beside the other, having to look up since he was shorter. The prince paused, glancing back at the looming walls of the castle behind. He shook his head, looking back to Khasar.
He gave a nod, "I'm ready to go Khasar."
The draconic male grinned, eyes glowing yellow in front of the prince. He clapped his claw-like hands against each other, rubbing them together, "Wonderful! Then I shall change to my true form. It will feel good to stretch my wings again."
Khasar then started forward. As he walked, a black mist started to surround his form, hiding him from view. The mist moved, and as it did, the shape of it started to grow. The darkness spread swiftly, taking shape as mist spread out, powerful wings appearing. The black mist slowly lifted, revealing bit by bit the nightmare that laid within the darkness. Glistening claws lined each paw, deadly spines lining the nightmarish beast's back. The spines ran all the way along its back, coming to end at the tip of the tail, which ended in an arrow-head shape with serrated edges. The demonic dragon's jaws were lined with rows of sharp fangs, where eyes should be, were instead holes where lights of blood red glowed.
The frightening beast laid down, even its voice had changed, sounding deeper and even more demonic, "There we are, climb aboard young prince, and we shall get started."
Yet, despite Khasar's horrific form, Yashiro approached without any fear. Using the beast's leg as a stepping stone, he slipped upwards and onto his back. The prince found his usual place between two of the spines running along the dragon's back, settling down. He tapped Khasar's next, which let him know that his rider was ready.

Kai rolled his eyes before turning to Luck. “My apologies for having to take you like that. I had to know who I was really dealing with.”
