You can't give in just because he pouts. You have more resolve than that. "There are so many things that make that a bad idea." She stated, even as her resolve was weakening.

“I’ll wake you up if something happens.” Damian assured her, starting to settle and become more comfortable around her again.
Fletcher walked in through the gates and went to the tavern. As he went inside he sat at the bar trying not to put a disgusted face at the alcohol being served. He hated drinking, but he had to come here as the bar guy always has the information.
"It's…not just that…." Catori trailed off, biting her lip. You could just tell him.
“Is everything alright, Tori?” Damian tilted his head to the side, well aware he was using his looks to try and get his way.
((he's a little shit. i love him so much.
Catori sighed. "I'm prone to…nightmares. Very bad ones. I'd just rather not disturb you." It was the closest to the truth she could muster at the moment, and technically it was the truth. Just not all of it.
Lmao you honestly shouldn’t love him as much as you do😂 Also I gtg for a bit I’m getting a hair cut))
“I don’t mind. If you are to marry me we will be with each other for quite a long time.” He seemed to almost be lightly teasing. “I have no qualms with caring for you while you sleep. Is there anything I can do to help ease you?”
((probably, but oh well. see ya in a bit!
Catori's eyes widened, and a flush crept up her neck. "You really don't have to concern yourself with me. There haven't been any sort of remedies I've found, no. They're there every night, without fail."
(Wheres 42?)
I’m back!))
Damian smiled gently. “At least let me try.” He paused for a moment, and once again well aware of his ability to use his looks to get his way, pouted. “Please? I’d rather my sparrow be well rested before we encounter anymore challenges from my brothers.”
Catori's face turned a bright red, and she blinked. "I-uh…fine. Maybe the change of scenery will help."
“I knew you’d come around.” Damian’s pout turned into a warm smile. “You uh… you ought to put your head in my lap. So you can stretch out.” He suggested, trying to keep his cool.
((sksksksk
Catori did so, looking up at him once her head was lying in his lap. "Feel free to shove me onto the ground if need be."
Damian chuckled, his icy blue eyes gazing intently at Catori’s face. “I can take a few hits if need be, Tori. Rest well.”
That was all it seemed to take, as the exhaustion suddenly crashed down in a wave, and she drifted off, mumbling.
Damian to the chance to study Catori, taking note of the intricate tattoos on her arms, which he traced lightly with his finger. He hardly grazed the skin in fear of waking her up, but the possible meanings fascinated him.
Catori had been more tired than she let on, and was very deeply asleep now, still mumbling randomly.
Damian was pleased that his princess was getting much needed rest. He was a bit shocked to realize how much he actually cared about Catori, but shook it off. She was under his protection now anyways. It made sense to care, right?
Catori slept oddly peacefully for a bit, something that was definitely new, and the mumbling died down. A little while later though she twitched, face scrunching up as she had a bad dream.
Damian reached over grabbing Catori’s hand. He calmly rubbed circles into her palm, hoping the gentle action would soothe her.
The tension started to ease from her face, and she nestled a bit closer. It was working, and his hand was a grounding point, reminding her that it was just a dream.
Damian continued to soothe her when he finally noticed something… strange. Odd enough for him to lift her hand a bit to look at her wrists. He analyzed the scars, biting his lower lip. At some point Damian realized he would have to ask her about them.
Catori huffed in her sleep, a sound that almost sounded like a laugh, as her dream turned into a fonder memory.
Copper fluttered over, nestling herself into the crook of Catori’s arm. Damian rolled his eyes. “Suck up.” He grumbled, shifting his gaze out the window.
Catori's grip tightened on Damian's hand before relaxing again, and she mumbled something again, what sounded like part of a spell.
