"Honestly, I don't think I've ever seen a bird this spoiled before." Catori said, sighing.
"Honestly, I don't think I've ever seen a bird this spoiled before." Catori said, sighing.
"What's wrong with that?" Victor frowned at her severely. "Poor Copper almost starved."
"If starving means being fed by me, stealing scraps from merchants, and then being fed by you two, then sure." She rolled her eyes in amusement, huffing a laugh.
"She's barely breathing. You must not have fed her enough." He solemnly pretended to resuscitate the bird.
"She's already had half a loaf of bread!"
"Do you truly want to live with a prince who rushes to threaten anyone who comes near anything he wants?" Pine queried quietly. "As for the emotional manipulation, it is true, but do you not feel suspicious? If I was like Damian, I could force all thoughts of danger out of your mind, but I am not like him. The one thing we have in common is that we are both skilled liars - but while every word that flies off his tongue is a lie, I avoid licking boots with my own tongue. It would be wise not to trust me entirely, but I think it would be wiser for you not to even approach Damian."
Lotus paused in thought. She eventually said with a firm tone, "I will make my own decisions. Both you and Damian have your flaws and benefits. However I wish to judge all of you for myself."
Alexia watched Victor and the other princess silently, her hands clasped behind her back as she looked around. She put a small smile on her face, it wasn't exactly friendly though.
Damian rolled his eyes, sure to calm himself. He wandered slightly away from everyone else, his eyes still a stormy shade of blue. He looked out on steps up to the palace, spotting another princess. He quickly smoothed out his hair before coming down to greet her.
Ursule's eyes lit up when she saw someone approaching her, another person to bother! "Hello, you are one of the princes, non?" She exclaimed, her accent making everything she said more intresting.
Damian bowed, a warm smile on his face. “Prince Damian Marcuse, at your service.” He straightened back up, gesturing to the stairs. “Welcome to the palace.”
Kai finished feeding Copper without injury, he stood up and stretch a hand toward the girl standing next to Victor. "hello I'm Kai."
"Great to be here, I'm Ursule Orcherie." Ursule said with a slight nod, her kingdom did not bow to anyone. Notice that she didn't say princess, she despised that word.
“Pleasure to meet you.” Damian grabbed the bracelets out of his bag. The only ones remaining were purple, dark green, and black. “I got these for each of you, if you’d do me the favor of picking your favorite.”
"Ooh! Can I take the black? The others are much too… Colorful for a… Bracelet." Ursule asked, taking a while to finish as she took in the disgrace of the colored bracelets.
Damian smiled, a bit embarrassed. “Of course.” He handed her the bracelet, placing the other two carefully in his bag. “You should come join the rest of us.” And drive Kai away from Catori…
Ursule gave a shrug. "Whatever you say, pretty boy." She added on, giving a smirk and turning on her heel to walk in the direction of where the other people were situated.
"Judge wisely," Pine replied simply. "And never forget that, unlike you, every one of us is half demon. Damian, Victor, Kai, and I are not to be toyed with for long. I shall be departing soon, so I would advise you to speak to the other princes now." He recrossed his arms behind his back.
"So you like animals?" Victor asked Catori, standing back up.
"Yes! Although I have to say, I get along with birds the best." She replied, petting Copper gently.
Damian followed at her heels, a bit baffled by being called ‘pretty boy.’ He wasn’t even sure if it was a compliment or an insult. His eyes narrowed when he spotted Victor talking to Catori. “Oh hell no.” He grumbled under his breath, striding confidently towards the pair. “Hey! Catori!” He transformed his glare into a dorkish grin, waving at her.
Someone is jelous~ I've only been here for a few minutes and this drama is already delicious. Ursule purred in her head. She was honestly disgusted with how she was being forced to act but… Anything to get her out of her kingdom.
"Oh, Damian!" Her smile brightened a bit as she waved back.
“I see you met Victor.” Damian replied smoothly, softly smiled at him. “This is Ursule.” He gestured to the other princess.
Victor bowed again, "Hello, Ursule. I'm Prince Victor."
"Yes, I did. Hello, Ursule, it's nice to meet you."
Lotus nodded and have him a slight curtesy, "I never had any plans to toy with you. Simply get acquainted so I can choose whom I shall be traveling with. I will take my leave to speak with one of the other princes," Lotus turned and walked away from Pine. She had already spoken to Damian, but their seemed to be a large gathering of the princes and princesses near him. This would take a bit more mental power to go and walk up to talk with them.
