"I would love to see that list at some point," Lotus stifled her laugh. She had a humored smile on her face, "Just to see what they have written down."
"I would love to see that list at some point," Lotus stifled her laugh. She had a humored smile on her face, "Just to see what they have written down."
Damian smiled in response, rubbing the back of his neck, more embarrassed than bashful. “I’m sure they’d give you a copy.” He replied dryly. “For all their bullying… they have their perks. Believe it or not they aren’t bad conversationalists. Especially the birds.”
Kai walked out into the bright sun, "Hello Victor, and whoever you are," he said very confused and not trying to be rude. he scanned the court hard until he saw Damian and Pine talking to someone. how many people where here? a sudden burst of acorns erupted from the tree striking Damian while Pine and the lady stood still and watched, untouched. Kai coughed a laugh then straightened himself and turned to the lady his brother was conversing with. "excuse me mam, i'm Prince Kai, I would love to catch your name some time but right now i'm in the middle of trying to settle a feud an em in desperate need of some food to appease the peace treaty." he sounded ridiculous, and he knew it.
((hey guys I need to do some homework due tomorrow catch a later.))
Lotus nodded in response to Damian before another prince came into the picture. She didn't recall ever seeing him before and stood back and observed, "Of course."
“We are not playing battlefield right now! There are guests!” Damian had fond memories of growing up with the wildlife of the castle gardens. Battlefield was a game he had often played when he was younger and trying to control his powers. He basically had a bunch of animals team up to throw things at him while he used thick walls of vines to protect himself. He flashed a quiet glare at Kai.
Victor and the girl seemed to be lost in each other's eyes or something because they clearly hadn't heard him so he briskly walked over to Damian and Pine. "playing battlefield again Damian," Kai smirked he knew he hadn't been but if it got under his nerves he'd do just about anything, he'd even set up the animals for a couple of surprise attacks before.
“Lovely of you to join us, Prince Kai.” Damian replied, a sharp edge to his tone. “Have you finally chosen to acknowledge your duties and be social? Or did you accidentally burn someone again while trying too hard to flirt?” He kept his gaze light and inquisitive.
"actually I have been having a lovely conversation with someone." Kai said his voice airy and free. "but I'm afraid I'm not here to talk to the pretty young miss, but unfortunately right now I'm in the middle of trying to settle a feud an em in desperate need of some food to appease the peace treaty, do any of you happen to have anything on you or so help I shall live the rest of my life never able to eat a cracker again." he still sounded nuts.
Damian took a minute to put the situation together. “If you will excuse us for a moment, Lotus.” Damian grabbed Kai’s arm dragging him a couple feet away. “Princess Catori is mine so I highly suggest you back off.” He hissed through gritted teeth, his icy blue eyes narrowed. “There are Copper’s favorite crackers. Finish your little bit and then scram, or you may find yourself in some trouble later on.” He threatened quietly, placing a small punch of crackers in Kai’s hand.
I suppose I must be making my way to the palace now, I wonder what prince I can bother first.~ Ursule purred in her mind, tearing her gaze away from a booth selling spices. "Pardon me, could you point me in the direction of the palace?" Her exotic accent asked a guard as she tapped him on the shoulder.
"Do you truly want to live with a prince who rushes to threaten anyone who comes near anything he wants?" Pine queried quietly. "As for the emotional manipulation, it is true, but do you not feel suspicious? If I was like Damian, I could force all thoughts of danger out of your mind, but I am not like him. The one thing we have in common is that we are both skilled liars - but while every word that flies off his tongue is a lie, I avoid licking boots with my own tongue. It would be wise not to trust me entirely, but I think it would be wiser for you not to even approach Damian."
Victor smiled. "Up these steps, then." He led Alexia through the palace doors, but paused when he saw Catori.
Catori noticed him and nodded politely. An endless supply of princes, huh?
"Well, I'm Prince Victor." He bowed, grinning. "And this is Alexia."
"Catori. It's a pleasure to meet the both of you." She smiled, a bit amused by his grin.
Victor knelt down curiously. "Hey, is that your bird?"
"Yes, up to that hill, past those buildings." The guard said Ursule dismissing him with a wave and a sweet thank you. She hummed a small song, walking up to the palace and breezing past the gaurds who were positioned infront of the gates.
"Something like that, yes."
"Oh, he looks hungry. Can I feed him something?" Victor asked her.
Who wants to notice my dramatic asshole?//
Catori raised an eyebrow. "I'm sure she would love that."
(Me although Pine's talking with Lotus)
Victor somehow pulled out a loaf of bread from his pocket and broke it up for the bird. "What's her name?"
"Copper." She laughed quietly as Copper flapped her wings excitedly.
Kari had brushed Damian’s comment of taken the food and hurried back to the castle. “ are you serious!” He said when he found victor feeding copper.
"Hello, Kai," Victor said, watching him for a moment. He broke the bread in halves and gave one to Kai.
