“Or both.” A smirk darkened Ara’s face.
“Or both.” A smirk darkened Ara’s face.
How about we flood the room and clog the drain instead? That would be interesting Royce brought up with the piece of paper he had at hand.
“Hmm.” Ara thought for a moment, and then her smirk grew. “Do you have blood manipulation? We could paralyze them.”
Royce raised a brow.
Well, don’t know if this counts, but I can freeze and/or boil blood when necessary
“Well, it was a thought.” Ara shrugged. “Maybe I can freeze the blood in their wings. That would piss them off more than anything else.”
Wouldn’t that just make them useless in the battlefield? he smiled as he wrote something else down.
The choice’s yours, I’ll support you in any way I can
“Who cares if they aren’t completely intact in the arena? That makes it all the better!”
I suppose you’re right. Actually, you know what, I think I know somewhere we can go if you’re not fully disgusted by my presence he smirked slightly. Ara was one of the only girls he enjoyed ‘talking’ to in his lifetime. Somehow, he felt the sense of warmth from this chilly girl in front of him.
(Hnngh I haven't responded to this in so long what do I dooo)
Ara raised an eyebrow. “I’m disgusted with people in general. You’re just slightly less annoying.” She examined her nails, long and shape and painted black. “If it is interesting, I’ll go. But really only because I’m bored.” She flicked her finger at him and a peice of ice flew from it and hit him on the nose.
(Go exploring?)
Royce wiped the icicle off his nose and voicelessly laughed.
It’s just a garden with a pavilion and a fountain, you know, usual rich people stuff
“Of course.” Ara rolled her eyes. “They would have that here. As long as there’s water, I’m going.”
(Eh okie)
Ash woke up with a start, for a moment not understanding the fear coursing through her veins. She quickly remembered where she was, and scrambled out of bed so fast she almost fell. Throwing on clothes of some sort, she paced around her room anxiously. What am I supposed to do? Am I allowed to leave my room? What if someone "accidentally" stabs me? Probably best not to leave, then. She sighed. I'm going to go crazy from boredom. Best if I just quietly explore, she decided, silently opening her door and glancing both ways down the hallway.
Blaise heard the noises of someone getting up and groaned, pulling the pillow off of his face enough to see who it was. His roommate was leaving. He groaned and closed his eyes again.
Royce smiled like a little kid.
It’s not far, let’s go. With that, he condensed the vapor lingering in the hallways and froze them. This turned parts of the floor into ice and he started to skate on it a little before stopping in front of Ara. He offered her his hand with a warm smile.
Ara raised an eyebrow. “What a showoff,” she muttered before taking his hand. She didn’t know why she did it. This was the first time she had let someone touch her since… well, since it happened. His hand was surprisingly warm, and she snickered quietly to herself before lowering the temperature in her body until it felt colder than ice.
Ash had gotten completely, UTTERLY lost. She has only been wandering for a minute or two, but apparently her feet moved faster than her mind. I'm her panic, both of her hands went up in flames, and she had to shake them out before she burned any of this… was that real mahogany?
What’s to be expected? Royce led her through the hallway while holding on to her hand, making sure that she would not slip on the mini rink he has made.
Not a long distance from their room, they arrived at the outdoors and Royce guided her to a bench situated near the fountain. The winds were blowing softly against the trees, the smallest of insects surrounded the trunks while the prettiest of flowers brightened the atmosphere. The fountain was in quite a great shape as water emerged from it in rhythmic ways. When Royce got close to the fountain, he was soaked with an unexpected shot of water from a crack in the fountain. Thankfully, his notebook was on the bench.
Ara snickered. She moved over to the fountain, and, ignoring the water that soaked her, touched the surface of it. She concentrated hard, biting her lip in itt the effort. A wave of water slowly started to grow and spin, and a bead of sweat trickled down her forehead with the effort.
Royce made his way to his notebook with a smile.
What was that about showing off? He silently giggled but mostly, he was happy to be with his woman who was, at least in some ways, like him.
After another minute of running around confusedly, Ash saw a for that seemed to lead outside. Outside was good. Real air, hopefully real nature. She opened the door, walked out, and saw… shit. There were two people sitting by a fountain. Her heart rate spiked and she fumbled for the doorknob behind her.
With a grunt, Ara let the wave go. She sat down next to him, slumping with relief. “I’m not showing off,” She panted. “I’m seeing if I can still do it. Water Manipulation was never my best ability.”
Royce wrote something else on his notebook but then quickly erased parts of it before showing it to Ara. His face started to redden.
Whatever you say sweetie Ara (That was a mistake, I swear!)
He then turned to the door when he heard someone opened it. He turned back to Ara and pointed in that direction.
She didn’t seem to notice his slip-up. She could be very oblivious. She heard the sound of a door opening and nodded to Royce before standing. Or, at least, trying. She collapsed from the effort and scowled at herself, heaving herself up back up onto the bench.
