"I'm not sure I believe either of those theories." He turned to her and smiled.
"I'm not sure I believe either of those theories." He turned to her and smiled.
Camille wore a crooked grin. "I think it's a nice.. a nice thought," she replied whimsically. "That there's more than this,"
"Oh I don't believe that's just a thought, I know there's got to be more out there."
Camille flicked her ear. "I want to see it one day, maybe,"
"I'll show you some day, if I ever can."
Camille looked over at him, "Promise? Tippy tail promise?"
(XD tippy tail is like pinkie promise, where instead of hooking pinkies they'd hook tail ends)
(that sounds weird but ooookaaayyyyy )
He wiggled out from under his blanket and walked over to Camille, "Tippy tail promise," he extended his tail towards hers.
XD why?)
She hooked the end of her tail around his in a brief gesture, "Okay. I won't forget now," Camille spoke.
"I won't either." He sat next to her, "Is it okay if I sit next to you for a while?"
"Yeah," she folded her wings in so she wasn't taking up so much space.
"You don't have to do that, I'm not trying to get closer." He chuckled.
"Well fine then," she replied facetiously, and spread her wings as far as they'd go, just to mess with him.
Her wing grazed his side, "Well" he made a grunting noise, "that's unnecessary." He laughed, pushing her wing out of the way, "Do you want me to sit closer?" He scooted closer until he thought he was close enough to bother her.
She replied with a fake grimace, "Ew, cooties,"
"You'll be fine." He scooted back to where he was before.
"You think?" Camille teased.
"Probably not."
She set her head back down, "Okay. Goodnight, you turd,"
"Goodnight." he slowly walked back to his blanket and crawled underneath to go to sleep.
sure)
Camille poked her friend awake when the sun rose above the horizon.
Edmund woke up on his back looking up at Camille. "Good morning." he mumbled lowly.
"Took you long enough," she spoke. "I had all morning to steal another pig," Camille smiled.
"Ah. Thanks." He slowly rolled over and streched like a tired cat. "Shouldn't you have gone home by now?" He smiled widely when he looked at her again.
