Time passed, Liarra had fallen asleep upon the cushions resting on the back of the platform upon the back of Gol. Gaelan remained on the large dragonelle's head, tail curled around his side. His ears were constantly swiveling back and forth, listening to the world around him.
~We are approaching the village. Perhaps you should wake the little one~.
Gaelan glanced down to the dragonelle's head, then slowly stood upwards. He had been thinking of what his brother said, how he acted. Part of it was right, but still, he should make time for their little sister. She barely spoke or ever interacted with anyone or anything else other than her brothers, and their dragons.
The male moved towards the back, yellow orange eyes settling on his sister's form. A soft smile crossed his features, noticing how she had curled up, cuddling close to her chest a stuffed dragon. The toy was precious, and for good reasons, made from scratch by their now deceased mother.
~She does seem at peace~ Gol's gentle voice suddenly spoke in Gaelan's mind.
The young male pulled up a chair, his gaze landing on his little sister as she continued to sleep. Though his own voice responded to the large dragonelle ~Yea…I'm surprised she's been doing so well since mom passed away~.
A low rumble came from Gol, her heavy claws plodding along ~Mm, there are some things one cannot dwell on for too long, else it shall weigh them down. Grow, or wilt and die. It is good Liarra has chosen to grow~.
Gaelan lifted a hand, taking the hat off his head. He set it in his lap, ears laid flat back against his head, blending in with his unnaturally white hair. Only at the sounds of people moving, followed by voices, did Gaelan put his hat back on, moving back towards the head of the large dragonelle. Buildings and houses came into view as the village they often visited finally became clearer.
Helios, flew over the village, heading towards the stables.
"Electra, I hope you can stay here WITHOUT eating anything!" Helios said reprimanding. He then hopped of and told the stable boy what to do. Before long he started to walk towards the tavern. On its sign, it said Ever-Mead.
Artemis spoke to sol “we can make camp over there” he pointed to a clearing very close to a tavern like building
(Idk whTs happened!!)
(.o. Everyone is heading towards a tavern in a village)
(Since riverpaw is Elyisia's dragon, are they still in the forest or ..?)
(Yeah, but probably on their way in a bit. Also, Elyisia?)
(Sorry! I tho7gh I was using her, actually I'm using Xena)
As soon as Taurin had arrived at the village again and stepped in the tavern, his boss told him to get to work. Circe waited patiently outside for his return, basking in the sun.
Taurin strapped on his apron.
“I just got back!” he protested lightly, “Putting me back to work already, are you?”
“No one can stop a bar fight quite like you.”
Taurin laughed and started working.
Once they finished setting up camp Artemis said “I’m going to got to the tavern don’t cause any trouble while I’m gone” he walked over and opened the tavern door
Vicky watched Artemis go for a moment before turning and hopping over to Sol. "I go play in meadow outside village," she explained, then she turned and hopped towards the trees. At the tree line she stopped and looked up at the birds that were flying overhead. She spread her wings out, and flapped them just like the birds, but didn't make it off the ground. She let her wings droop on the ground, looking somewhat chest fallen, then she shook her head and bounced happily into the woods.
Taurin saw Artemis walk in. He tucked his empty tray up to his chest and nodded in greeting.
"What can I do for you?" he asked.
Xena picked up Adrianne and started walking towards the local Tavern "noe remember, stay close to me, dont go anywhere."
“I’ll just take water” Artemis responded in a polite tone as he sat down at a bar stool
Sol watched the dragon at play
Riverpaw stretched out her leg and stood up, then watched Xena for a moment before slowly following her and Adrianne. She sniffed the air and wondered where they were going.
Adrianne nodded and clutched her mother's shirt tightly. Soon after they appeared at the tavern. Xena took a deep breath and walked inside the noisy room. She took a seat near the door and put Adrianne on the table as she waited for a server to be free.
Artemis saw the creature on the table but he decided to stay back for now
Taurin grabbed a glass of water for Artemis and set it down on the table, then swung around to Xena and Adrianne. He eyed Adrianne curiously.
"What can I do?" he asked.
He just took a sip from the glass it was quite refreshing and mulled over what had happened so far
"Water for her and what do you have to eat here?" She asked, holding Adrianne's hand
Human territory. Riverpaw hung around near the edge of the trees, watching Xena and Adrianne through a window.
Vicky was following a squirrel through the trees, until she rammed head first into a tree, and ended up sitting in somewhat of a daze. She then shook her head and looked up the large tree, the squirrel was climbing it with ease. Vicky huffed in disappointment, and turned to find something else to do. She was quickly distracted by a grasshopper that was hopping around. Soon she was hopping every time it did following it, closely.
