The call went through…
“Yes, Azure speaking, now at the scene, who is this and your purpose of calling?” the man on the other side of the call asked, voice as clear as ever. There were other people on the other side of the call as well but their voices were mumbled.
Lata grinned lightly to herself, happy the earpiece was working. Not that she didn't trust the word of a fellow Silverwing. "It's L. This was mostly for a test to be sure I could reach you. As well as the fact that I'm headed out," she said calmly. Internally, she supposed the call was kind of pointless. With the Silverwings watching her, they probably knew she wasn't one to laze around long.
Isaac shrugged.
“That’s technically possible if Nathan’s still around here to take me home that is” he laughed a bit.
“Here are your drinks gentlemen” the waiter came back with a glass of water and a glass of mint mojito.
Azure paused for a bit.
“To do your mission right? I have to say that I’m sorry that I can’t assist you until later as I have a mission right now but as soon as I’m done, I’ll be helping you with yours” the man on the other side of the call claimed before he giggled a bit.
“Well, anyways, I’ll be going now, good luck and stay safe Lata” with that, the hunter ended the call from his side.
Azure paused for a bit.

It frustrated Lata a bit that she wasn't given a chance to say anything. She had battled fearsome beasts in the past and felt sure she could handle a single woman. At least from a distance as she was told. The girl groaned as she put on her helmet and walked out of her room calmly. If Azure did show up, at least she wouldn't get cut off with him actually there. That was ideal anyways.
Someone else was in the hallways, heading out as well. It was Lata’s neighbor, the Scorpio Matthew. He turned to her with his armor on but his headgear folded.
“Hi, where’re you going to?” He asked with a raised brow and a tired smile.
Tucana sighed ruefully.
“I’m sorry but—“ he wrapped his hands firmly around Pasha’s waist before he took off from the platform “—there’s nothing stopping me from protecting you and every part of you, at least none now” he finished the sentence as they were in the skies. The sun was rising as well… the scenery was quite phenomenal even for the knight.
Pasha's body completely tensed as he was lifted into the air. While he didn't doubt that Tucana would be able to get them there safely, he was still unsure whether or not the knight should be flying while his wings were still healing. "Tucana I really don't think you should be doing this."
“Listen—“ Tucana looked down at Pasha before he turned to a different direction, embracing the winds “—don’t worry about me in the slightest. There’s a lot of time to rest in the coffin so I’m living my life to the fullest, every sacrifice, every risk, a blessing honestly” he smiled ruefully as they got closer to their destination.
Tucana was starting to doze off…
Boom!
An explosion sounded on the mountain to his right as he turned with eyes widened in fear. The trees on top of the mountain were up in blue flames.
The sound of an explosion caused Pasha to jump a little, and he too stared in horror at the sulfuric flames.
He glanced up at Pasha, feeling himself start to panic a little. "What are we going to do?"
(Sorry it's short, I'm a little busy)
She hadn't been expecting anyone to be outside to see her leaving the castle. Lata looked at the symbol on his chest, recognising it as a symbol of the Zodiac. Azure had only mentioned Pisces being a Silverwing. She would have to lie. Not that that was all that difficult.
"Out to get a few things," she answered flatly. As kind as the boy seemed, she wasn't there to start small talk. Not at the moment anyways. Perhaps later she could introduce herself to him and the other Zodiac.
Tucana was a bit conflicted. He needed to help Azure and Nathan at the scene but the new happening took all his attention.
“I’m sorry, but we’re checking that out” he apologized before he changed his direction of flight, now heading towards the mountain.
“Ah, alright… well, I guess I’ll see you aroun—“ the man reached to his ear, touching the well hidden earpiece lightly “—yes, Nathan, I’m heading out, give me a second…” he talked to… someone. The earpiece had the Silverwings symbol on it.
Matthew sighed before smacking his head against the wall jokingly once.
“Why did they have to send you as my guide of all people?” He complained before he silently waved to Lata as he ran down the hall, heading for the exit doors.
Lata noticed the identical earpiece to his own shortly before before Scorpio ran in the direction she was headed. Wanting answers, she rushed after him. "Wait a moment!" she called out, just a bit behind the other Knight. Her legs were shorter than his seeing as her stature wasn't very tall, so she practically had to sprint to reach the other before he left.
Matthew whipped his head back around.
“Yeah?” He asked, seemingly clueless as to why the Libra still wanted him around.
“Whatever you have got to say, please make it concise, I have something to do” he stated as he reached for the doorknob.
He wanted concise, then he would get concise.
"You're a Silverwing," Lata stated. There was no question about it as he wouldn't have an earpiece if he didn't. Especially not one identical to her own. She would have to ask Azure why he didn't mention recruiting another Zodiac member.
“Yeah? Are you one?” Matthew asked back with a bit of a questioning tone. He acted as if the one who assisted him did not tell him a single thing about members of the Zodiac being in the group as well. He released his hand from the doorknob to face the Libra.
Lata nodded. "Yes. I was only told about Pisces, so it caught me by surprise to see the earpiece," she explained. The girl felt a bit relieved about having another ally. It also meant she could drop the formal tone. "Guess I'll be seeing you, sir Scorpio," she said with a smile. Her tone seemed warmer and more relaxed. Internally, her thoughts scolded her on how odd it was to say 'sir Scorpio.'
Matthew blinked a bit before smiling, then laughing a bit, covering his mouth.
“Lucky for you, I wasn’t told a single thing except for my mission” he giggled a bit as he reached for the doorknob.
“Well, I’ll be seeing you around as well Miss Libra” he gave friendly vibe but a teasing tone in the last part. With that, he swung the door open…
Thump…
A body fell in front of him when the door was opened, a bloody one. The Scorpio jumped back in surprise, now standing almost beside Libra. The corpse was of a Selas Knight but… it was unclear as to who it was. The cause of death was most likely the large hole through their skull.
Lata only stood still, eyes unable to look away from the blood spreading all over the floor. She was suddenly six years old again, trembling before her dead parents. They were murdered ruthlessly simply because someone could. Her hoarse screams had echoed in the air to no one. And now it had happened to another innocent person. Again, nothing could have been done. She didn't know whether to be relieved or not to not know the owner of the body. Would their family be notified…? Did this person have family? Kids…?
Matthew knelt down beside the corpse slowly as he examined it carefully.
“Lepus… the Hare constellation…” Scorpio suggested when he saw the pieces of armor that resembled the long ears of a rabbit. He put his hands together in a praying way.
“May you rest in peace” he spoke quietly before he used his fingers to close the corpse’s eyes. Scorpius then stood up and turned to Libra. He touched the edges of his armor as his headgear was unfolded and covered his head. He then picked up the Hare knight’s corpse and placed it against the wall inside.
“Let’s go, our missions are related I believe… you are after someone as well right?”
Lata regained focus when hearing Scorpio speak again. She nodded, still feeling a bit somber. She took out the photo Azure had given her. "This is her. I'm only supposed to find her as her ability is quite dangerous if you lack experience," the girl explained as she watched the other move.
Matthew reached into his armor’s opening, getting out a photo as well; it was of a man in blue.
“I was told to search for this man, apparently he’s an escaped prisoner or something along those lines, I’m not entirely sure myself but from I know, he has fire related—“ Scorpio looked outside the palace to see a faraway mountain top on blue flames “—abi…lities…” with that sight, the Scorpio kept the photo back where he pulled it out from.
“Let’s hurry” he suggested, rushing in the direction of the mountain while using the armor’s metallic tail to fling himself across the plains.
The girl would have cursed were there time. "Ironically, my target has the opposite, weiding ice to freeze people," she commented as she ran. With how quickly Scorpio was going, Lata had no idea if she could keep up. Her abilities were better suited for distraction during combat rather than travel. It was now that she wished for Draco's wings to carry her up towards the mountain.
A small voice rang inside the Libra’s helm…
There is not only one kind of dragon that make up the dragons of balance… the armor’s capabilities don’t limit them… a semi-human voice spoke to Lata from inside her helm, giving her a hint as to how she could’ve caught up to the fast traveling Scorpius or possibly even beat him to the destination.
"Don't apologise you idiot." Pasha tutted at Tucana, his were eyes narrow as he stared at the flames. Closing his eyes, he tried to see if there was anyone around the area of the flames. The images were a little fuzzy so he couldn't make out any clear images, though he was sure he saw someone, smiling. "Tucana I think someone is down there!"
Tucana nodded and glided downwards…
FWOOSH!
A large pillar of blue flame emerged under Tucana and Pasha in an attempt to burn them. The reflexes and senses of the black bird was too great fortunately, being able to roll out of the blue pillar before it had reached him and Pisces.
He looked down at the base of the mountain and spotted… someone.
“Hey, is that guy one of yours?” The only figure he could have been talking about was the one in a golden armor with a faint golden, metallic tail which reflected the light emitted from the flames. Tucana was starting to glide down now as well.
God damnit…
The Scorpio had lost most of his energy traveling here in the first place, it was quite a distance from the palace but… he had a job to do, and he couldn’t afford to fail. With that, his tail went up again before slamming down on the ground, sending him flying into the smoke.
Pasha was beginning to feel a little motion sick. All the flying and sudden movements weren't at all agreeing with his stomach, and his brain was beginning to ache. "How long before we land?" he asked, as if they hadn't almost been burned by a blue fiery pillar.
That was when he saw the figure in golden armor. Was that the person behind all this?
A small voice rang inside the Libra’s helm…
There is not only one kind of dragon that make up the dragons of balance… the armor’s capabilities don’t limit them… a semi-human voice spoke to Lata from inside her helm, giving her a hint as to how she could’ve caught up to the fast traveling Scorpius or possibly even beat him to the destination.
Lata nearly tripped, hearing the voice. It was strange how the armor seemed to read her thoughts. Stopping for a moment, she raised her palms upwards to summon another energy dragon. This time however, she focused her thoughts on what she wanted the beast to do.
