(This might be an appropriate time…)
Tucana raised a brow before he moved to position himself in front of Pasha with a soft giggle. He leaned a bit closer to the Pisces, placing his right against the wall behind Pasha.
He leaned unnecessarily closer to Pasha.
“You tell me…” he whispered to the knight, his tone a bit different than earlier.
(Oh shiiiiiii—)
As Tucana leaned closer to Pasha, the knight's mind started spiraling.
He's so close, wHaT dOeS tHIs mEan?
His expression formed into something between confused and surprised. There was something he wanted to do, but would it be okay?
Ah fuck it…
Pasha looked up firmly into Tucana's eyes, and immediately pressed his lips to the others.
Tucana closed his eyes when the motion was set, it was a relief for him as well. From behind Pasha’s back, Tucana pulled the Pisces closer, embracing him in his wings as well. It was a different sensation from the kingdom’s norm, sure, but it was not one he disliked in the slightest.
The room of the black bird was wide, suitable for the Knight’s wide wings.
Tucana pulled his lips back, still keeping Pasha within his front folded wings.
He giggled with a blush, joy clearly forming on his face. It was pure.
( @UnseelieKing, Isaac and Lucisan definitely have competition XD)
A tingling sensation was left on Pasha's lips as the other knight pulled away. His eyes, too, were closed, and were a little blurry when he finally opened them.
Upon seeing the joy on Tucana's face, his smile instantly glowed. He had never seen such pure joy before, and to experience it on another person made his heart flutter wildly.
He wanted to say something, but also wasn't inclined to break the moment. Do I kiss him again? Gods I want to…
Tucana opened his eyes, meeting the other’s. His face was red, it helped a lot that he was roughly the same height as Pasha was.
“If you’re not doing it—“ he got a grasp on Pisces’ shoulders and pulled him closer “—I’m doing it” with that sentence ending, his lips touched the other’s again, this time without much withdrawal or nervousness.
Pasha's hands instinctively found Tucana's waist, and he held the knight against him.
All fatigue seemed to dissipate as his senses were overwhelmed by Tucana's scent and the heat from his wings.
If Tucana wasn't hesitating, then Pasha had no reason to either. Though, truth be told, it had been a while since Pasha had found himself in a situation like this, so he'd be lying if he said he wasn't a little awkward, but what happened then could never be compared to what was happening now.
The connection between the two went on for seconds, maybe even minutes on end… until…
“Hey, it’s Vincent, can anyone at all hear me?” the representative’s voice came ringing from both Pasha’s and Tucana’s earpieces.
Tucana had to pull away, answering the call on his end.
“Tucana answering, what’s up Vincent…”
God damnit V, this had better be important, I was enjoying myself… somehow, Tucana’s fists were lightly clenched.
A part of Pasha wanted to punch Vincent's lights out for interrupting the moment, but it must have been something important for him to call for 'anyone at all'.
The knight waited for Vincent's response.
What could have possibly been so important to put out a call so early in the morning? Did that guy ever sleep?
“Alright, for any of you who are listening, our patrol team by the Selas-Liestha area reported a case of mass murder; a total of fourteen casualties by the harbor. The culprit is so far unknown but two of the casualties are the knights from Selas; Ara and Triangulum, who were on patrol at the time. Tucana—” Vincent’s voice was stressed “—if possible, head to the scene at once and gather as much information as you can. Some of our members will assist you there. As for now… Vincent out” with that, the call ended.
Tucana’s face went a bit pale upon hearing the names of the casualties though he was quick to regain his mentality.
“What do you think?” He turned to ask Pasha for his opinion as for whether or not they should head to the scene.
"I mean I would rather we stay here," Pasha's eyes saddened when he saw how Tucana had paled. Ara and Triangulum, they were on the list, and Tucana knew them. They couldnt just sit by. He took a deep breath, his expression firm. "But we have a job to do."
“Eh… true. Wanna head back now? The morning call is 5 AM, is it not?” Isaac jerked his thumb towards the castle.
"Ugh, I'm really tempted to just… steal, everything." Luc sighed and groaned, looking at the castle with plain disdain.
Tucana gave smile of relief. He paced towards the extended parquetry of his room. He opened the glass doors before turning back to Pasha.
“I’m not letting you waste any energy—“ he spread his still healing wings as if they were fully functional “—so come here” he extended his hand in an inviting manner… it looked more like he wanted a hug though.
Isaac giggled, shook his head as he patted Luc’s.
“Come on, there’s a bar that’s still open at this time around here if you wanna go get something, it’d be my treat” he grinned.
In a moment of confusion, Pasha narrowed his eyes. While he thought Tucana was asking him for a hug, now wasn't really the time for it.
He took Tucana's hand, his face forming into a very disapproving expression. "I do hope you're not planning to use your wings, you know you're still healing." he sighed, shaking his head. "I don't mind getting us there quickly, and it doesn't take that long for my energy to come back." Liar. "Besides, it's not too far."
Tucana sighed ruefully.
“I’m sorry but—“ he wrapped his hands firmly around Pasha’s waist before he took off from the platform “—there’s nothing stopping me from protecting you and every part of you, at least none now” he finished the sentence as they were in the skies. The sun was rising as well… the scenery was quite phenomenal even for the knight.
“In all honesty, yes, but all our members always have time to rest. We aren’t so cruel to make you work all the time… after all, that’s opposing our purpose” Azure assured with a soft grin.
“Well, I’ll leave you be now and if you have any questions, don’t be afraid to ask me. Have a good night sleep, peace” he made a quick salute with his index and middle finger with closed eyes and a smile before he climbed through the window, closing it for Lata.
Lata watched the boy leave, still seated on her bed. Sliding off her armor, she placed it neatly on a stand in her room and flopped onto the bed. It certainly was comfortable. Humming, she allowed herself to rest.
Suddenly, she awoke out of nowhere. Not due to a loud noise, not because of the sun in her eyes. Stretching, the girl noticed a few hours had passed. Lata huffed as she put on her suit of arms once again, still not entirely used to the feeling. It conformed to her shape again, which Lata was still amazed by. Before placing her helm over her head, the tapped the earpiece lightly before speaking.
"Speak to A," she said a bit hesitantly.
The call went through…
“Yes, Azure speaking, now at the scene, who is this and your purpose of calling?” the man on the other side of the call asked, voice as clear as ever. There were other people on the other side of the call as well but their voices were mumbled.
Isaac giggled, shook his head as he patted Luc’s.
“Come on, there’s a bar that’s still open at this time around here if you wanna go get something, it’d be my treat” he grinned.
"Of course it's your treat, I wouldn't pay." Luc laughed a bit, cracking his neck and putting his boots back on. "Let's go spirit nerd."
Isaac grinned before he picked himself up, straightening his posture. He held out his hand.
“Come on, I miss the feeling” he jerked his hand upwards a bit, wanting Lucisan to take and hold it as they walked.
Luc rolled his eyes and smiled, taking the hand and swinging their arms. "You're a sap." He teased, giving a small laugh before pulling Isaac away from the pier and docks. Another place I have to tell mother never to go again.
Isaac looked down at the ground as they walked. He did have a slight blush but thankfully, the shadows hid it well. He started to guide Lucisan through the streets.
They soon arrived in front of a bar which was empty except for the young bartender who was wiping the tables clean.
"If you get drunk, I'm throwing your ass into a river." Luc hummed, he would do it. When they were kids, he threw Isaac into a spring when he did something stupid. He went to go sit down at the bar, letting go of the other's hand.
“Good early morning, gentlemen. What could I get y’both today?” The young bartender in an apron asked.
Isaac turned to him as he raised his index finger.
“Mint mojito, and a roasted fish” he ordered.
“Alright sir, and the other gentleman?”
Luc smiled at the bartender, it was strained and tired. "I'll have the same food but just a water, thank you." He ordered in response, adding on a please afterward.
“Alright, your food will be served soon, please wait good sirs” the bartender forced himself not to giggle when he saw how tired Lucisan was and he succeeded.
Isaac turned to Lucisan and decided it was a good idea to pat him on the head.
Lucisan swatted away Isaac's hand, sticking out his tongue. "Can I just go home with you then catch a ride back to Candorin?" He asked with a sigh.
