So she can lift and break objects with her mind. Seems awesome, but it's got a catch. Every time she uses her powers, a new cut appears on her body. The more powerful the magic, the deeper the cut. The cuts can't be healed with magic. So, she's not very experienced with using her powers on anything bigger than turning the pages of a book or making herself hot chocolate.
Occupation: High school sophomore.
Likes: Smart people, deviance, 50s styles, Oreos, cookies n' cream ice cream.
Dislikes: Stupid people, ignorance, liars, politicians, most teachers, actually most people.

Magic Ability: Air. He can change air temperature by manipulating it. Can fly. Create windstorms. Create a shield from a storm, and create a vacuum. However, it draws energy from himself, and if he tries to do something powerful enough, he can black out, or even die.
Occupation: high school senior
Likes: Food, music
Dislikes: cold, the dark

Gender: female
Magic Ability: Ruby doesn't have magic abilities herself, but she does have various magic items:
Egyptian Sword, which she was gifted after she killed a giant scorpion that was terrorizing her hometown. When she holds it towards the sun, she is able to create a beam of light to attack her enemies with. This only works when she has a bag of sand from her hometown, however.
Drake Feather, which is able to become wearable drake wings when she draws blood from her finger with the tip of the feather.
Kraken Bracelet, which allows her to swim faster.
Along with these items, she also has a non-enchanted double ended spear, rope, and an arrow.
Occupation: Monster bounty hunter
Likes: the sun, warmth, neutral colors
Dislikes: the cold, the dark, scorpions, and sleep

It was early morning when the posters started to go up, squires posting them to every available surface. However, it wasn't until midday when the announcement was made. "Hear ye, hear ye! An announcement from the capital castle!" A loud voice called out after an even louder trumpet. "There is a quest for adventurers of all types! More information to come at night!"

While waiting for the sun to hit midpoint, Martin heard the announcement. He didn’t pay much attention to the call until he got the photograph he wanted for the middle of the day. When the sun was almost directly above where he was, Martin got his desired capture and headed straight to the capital, interested in what they’ve got to say.
