Shiloh looked around. "Could… you… freeze an ice bridge across it or something?"
"Winter, you're clearly not okay. Stop. Please?" Estelle pleaded.
Kula's eyes were locked on the fortress. "Come on, Shiloh," she hissed under her breath quietly.
Elias facepalmed. "Of course I could build and ice bridge. Revion, You didn't tell me that because you just wanted to throw me didn't you?" Revion roared in a wookie laugh. Elias started building the ice bridge, and in no time at all, they were both across. "Now, shall we go get Essar? On the ice! I forgot about Winter! She's gonna die! I have to get to her!" Elias raced out of the doors, and back down to the main entrance. Winter looked at Estelle. "It's ok. I'm fine. I just need a few more minutes… Elias is on his way, and then, I'll be ok. He'll fix me. It's part of his gift… "
Shiloh watched Elias until he was out of sight, then hurried off to find Essar.
Kula spotted Elias running without Shiloh. Her mouth opened in a wobbly O and she sunk to her knees. She didn't make it. Shiloh… no… Kula's anger turned to rage. She glared at Aquare with unbridled fury. "You…"
Estelle also saw Elias. "He's coming!"
Elias came charing up the hill. "Before anyone dies that I don't need to die yet, everyone is fine. Kula, Shiloh is with Revion. She's completely fine. I had to make an ice bridge to get across to her though…" He looked at Winter. "Oh ice… I have to heal you. You're in really bad shape. Oh ice. I waited too long… How are you still standing? I need to get you back on the ship. Immediately…" Winter's side flared up. She groaned, and fell to her knees. She looked up at Elias. "I'm fine… Ok, Maybe I'm not 100 percent fine. Elias, You know how long I have left… If you are going to heal me, then you gotta do it soon…" Winter looked at him. Her vision glazed over, and she blacked out. Elias picked her up, not caring about Aquare. "Estelle, Get that blaster. Do what you need to do to Aquare. I've gotta get Winter back on the ship. She's going to die if I don't do anything to heal her…"
(Menawhile 5 is probably just sitting around on the ship like, 'i wonder if they're dead.')
Essar and Wreyna hurried along the corridor. "She should be somewhere down here." Wreyna said.
"Essar!?" Shiloh called, leaning against the wall for support as she walked. "Essar!!?"
Kula didn't think. She just ran towards the fortress. Towards her sister.
"Hurry!" Estelle called after Elias. She turned to look at Aquare, who was thawing the farther away Winter and Elias got. Estelle held the blaster in her hands.
"Estelle… Daughter…" Aquare pushed herself up weakly. "Don't do this. You saw why this-" she gestured around "is here. And you know what will happen if-"
"Shuttup!" Estelle snapped suddenly. Strands of her hair began to glow blue. It wasn't another empathy link, this was Estelle. "You HURT my friends! You MURDERED… my family. You brainwashed ME! And you think that I will forgive you??!"
Essar looked up. "Shiloh!" Wreyna cocked her head. "Who's that?" "Part of daddy's crew." Wreyna nodded and tugged on his arm. "Mama's cell is that way."
Shiloh ran over. She stopped a couple yards away. "What's wrong? Why aren't you leaving?"
"We have to find Teela." Essar explained.
Elias had made it back to the ship. He raced up the ramp, and cleared a table rather forcefully. Winter was going in and out of consciousness. She looked up, her eyes cloudy. "Elias, you're warm…" He stepped back horrified. "You're fading… You should never feel the warm. I've gotta hurry. Winter lie still." She did as she was told. SHe looked up at the ceiling. "Elias, I want to go to sleep… Why are you so warm?" Elias held back tears. "Hold on for a little while longer Winter. I got you…" He sighed. He relaxed, and looked down at Winter. He saw everything that was wrong with her in a faint green glow. He put his hand on her, and he doubled over in pain. He didn't remove his hand. He let his power flow through him and into her. Winter eyes opened. She gasped for air. She tried to sit up, but Elias gently pushed her back down on the table. Winter stuttered, "E-Elias, y-you're h-hurting y-yourself. S-stop. P-please…" Elias looked up. He leaned over her, and he leaned down. "Shhh. It's going to be ok now. You're going to be alright. Just rest…" He kissed her on the forehead. Winter relaxed, and sighed.
5 walked into the room. "Where is Essar?"
Elias looked up. "Ummm…. He's most likely still in the control room, in that tower we decided to break into."
Winter groaned on the table below him. "Shhhh. I'm still here. You're not out of the woods yet. I'm almost done. Keep still…"
5 groaned. "You guys broke into a tower?! I thought all you guys were doing was recon."
Elias chuckled. "Yeah. We did more than break into a tower. We freed wookies, and found Shiloh's sister, Winter got shot facing Estelle's fake mother, and found Essar's…" Elias stopped short. He looked down. "I think I need to finish healing Winter…" He stopped talking, and continued to heal her, putting more effort in it than he needed. His eyes became glassy, and he started shaking. The entire room glowed a vivid, bright green. Winter gasped, and sat up violently. Her side still throbbed, but, she wasn't bleeding anymore. The wound had closed. She knew Elias had done enough. She interlaced her fingers with his. "Now, it's my turn to tell you to stop. You've done enough. You have exhausted yourself to the point of breaking. Now stop, please?" Elias looked at Winter, and he looked at his fingers tangled in hers. He stopped healing her. He had done all he could do. He stepped closer, and hugged her gently. He buried his face in her hair. "I thought you were going to leave me… You started feeling warmth, and you started to not respond to anything. Not even my touch…" Winter managed a small laugh. "Yeah… I thought I was gone too… I think my luck with all these close calls, is beginning to run out. I need to take it easy for a bit…" Elias sighed a sigh of relief. "Here, let me wrap your side. I don't want it to get infected. I don't think I can heal anything for a little while…" Winter smiled. "I don't think you could either. Elias, take it easy will you? I don't want to lose the only person like me…" Elias just smiled. "I'll try to take it easy… With this Rebellion going on, it'll be hard…" Elias stepped back, and went to go get some bandages.
5 walked back into the cockpit. "Let me know if Essar contacts us."
Elias shouted from the back. "5, I think that will be kinda hard for him… His com link is jammed…"
5 sighed. "Of course it is." She muttered.
Winter got up off the table. She stood on her feet. She was shaky, and her vision swam. She gripped the table, and tried to steady herself. Elias came around the corner, with bandages. "Whoa, Whoa, WHOA. Easy there. What do you think you're doing? You're not going anywhere. Sit back down on that table." Elias picked her back up, and set her on the table very gently. He suddenly got very pale. "Uhhh. Nevermind. You can go. You don't need to be wrapped. You're fine…" He laughed nervously. Winter realized what he would have to do to wrap her wound. She blushed extremely hard. "I do need to be wrapped. You know that. How about I'll get it started, and you'll take over later, ok?" Elias nodded. He turned away. Winter laughed. "It's fine. I need to know if I'm wrapping myself right… Just point to where I need to start, and I'll take over." Elias nodded wordlessly. Winter waited until Elias pointed, and she lifted her shirt to the point where she needed to start wrapping herself. Elias blushed, and looked down extremely quickly. She started, until she knew she had gotten to the point where Elias needed to wrap or she would reinjure herself. She cleared her throat. "Umm, your turn? You need to wrap, or I'll open the wound again…" Elias nodded. He took the bandage and started wrapping. He looked up. "Not a word. You shall tell no one about this…" He managed to squeak out. Winter laughed. "Not a single word. Now finish wrapping, so I can go back to Estelle and Kula."
Kula reached the enterance of the fortress and sprinted inside. "Shiloh?!" She ran through corridors and into empty control rooms. She turned right sharply and stepped on a panel that glowed red.
"Authorization please."
"I'm looking for my sister you stupid computer!" Kula screamed, her eyes brimming with tears.
The panel blinked red twice. "Authorization fail."
Suddenly, the floor swallowed her up and she fell through blackness.
Shiloh nodded. "Where is she?" Her skin was turning bluer ever so slightly, but she was still very pale. Her breathing was heavy.
"Shiloh?!"
Shiloh jerked herself around in a circle. She looked at Essar wide eyed. "Did you hear that?"
(I'll do Aquare and Estelle later, I gtg now sorry, bye!)
(Hello… Honors chem and band are killing me…)
